Hello everyone, long time no see. I am selling a pair of Dual 2-ohm (technically D1.7) 12" Sundown X v.2's built by Dave Leib a.k.a "Strongman Designs." Reason I am selling them is because I realized upon testing to see if my digital multi-meter was working correctly that one of the coils is reading higher on the one sub indicating that too much heat had been applied to it recently so rather than risking any further damage to it I am going to assume that I have too much power for these. I have 2 crescendo pwx 10 mids single 8ohms that have never been powered or mounted. I bought them a few months ago along with some 6.5s. I used the 6.5s but never the 10s. I was planning on putting them in a wall in my trailblazer, but never completed it lol. Alpine CDA-9887 Deck is in great shape. Has a little wear on track skip buttons not bad at all (see pics). I have the box, cage, trim ring, harness, remote, and face case, also comes with I-pod cord (KCE 422i) and 5v to 12v adapter to charge your I-device. I really love this amp but it's not being used so it's gotta go.This amp is in fantastic condition, I only used it for about 3 or 4 months max in my weekend cruiser. It functions 100% and cosmetically, it's as close to new as it gets, not even the mounting feet are scratched up. Looking for a cheap ($50 - $60) 8" sub, needs to have a 4 ohm final load. No crazy RMS, this is gonna be replacing a logitech sub used for a desktop setup. The big thing is that the sub needs to be able to play down into the low 30's at least. The current sub sounds like total sh!t below like 50hz. I even made a new box for it that's 0.7 cubes tuned to 35hz and it can't play anything under 50hz without having a tremendous amount of port noise (the original box for it did the exact same thing).
