I know Lanzar is nothing close to sundown audio..... and I would definitely love to buy a 100.4 to add to my small collection, but this is going into an old mud riding truck.... and will likely be in less than optimal environments. Basically.... don't want to spend a ton of money to see my sundown amp go up in smoke. I've only seen 1 lanzar amp in person, powering 2 kicker comps. Please confirm my suspicions by telling me that they are definitely over rated and that it will at least put out 100 watts x 4 @ 4 ohms. I will have to purchase…

Hey guys, right know i currently have a jl w6v2, its being run by an ancient rf amp thats putting out around 500 watts or so. First question... Would i be safe to run this amp at 2 ohms for the w6. Second Question... Honest opinion on the amp and overall quality...

Just wondered if anyone has used one before on an AGM type batt ? (regular or Jr version)

My friend keeps on telling me his ma audio 802sx pushes out all this true power at less than 14 volts. I told him his amp was rated at 17 volts and he doesn't believe me. How does the sundown saz-3000d stack up to the ma wattage wise at 14 volts. He says his amps are the better deal because they are a little more than half of the price of the sundown. I told him you get what you pay for and sundown was a better quality amp. I just need some opinions and facts to back up my logic. Any help would be grateful.

the kicker zx1000.1 has a 0-18db variable bass boost at 40hz.. my question is if i want to run my IDQ15s ported and tuned to 28-30hz would the bass boost hurt the sound of the subs?

Cruising around and bam battery light. Checked voltage, amp terminals, alt post, and batts. All checked out. Cranked the bass, voltage was dropping to 11.9 when the day before just dropped to 13.2. I have a dual alt kit. I unplug my primary and boom 12.9. I gotta check a few fuses and relays but I believe it just died completely. It's a tenney 270amp but I'm gonna probably get mechman or someone to rebuild it. If not ill grab me a hairpin 380!!!! Kinda sucks cause I was about to buy an iPad to glass into my dash.

what do ya'll think? i have a pioneer deh-p3500 and the s/w outputs only put out 2v ......my uncles jvc arsenal h/u puts out 4v ........the same system swapped from my car to his but running on his h/u packs alot more punch and sounds better...........so instead of spending money i dont have on a h/u on the same level as his ive been looking into line drivers cause they arent so pricey ......but i recall several years ago my cuzzin had one and it ended up frying his amp.......so are line drivers a good idea? if so wut brands are good but cheap...and...how many volt output one should i get?

Last weekend I hooked up a Rockford fosgate p400-4 to my jvc kd-r810 and everything was fine untill today. I went to a friends house and it worked fine but on my way back home the sound would just cut in and out when I turned the volume past 10... At first I thought it was my iPod cable but it does the same thing when I play CDs too. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

I have a AQ2200.1D amp at 1 ohm with my 12" ascendant mayhem, it pounds off stock battery bit I hit the clipping light at around 20 on my alpine cde-hd137bt. I do have a 270 amp HO alt and big three and my lights dim sometimes but I'm wondering what all batteries do I all need to make it bump harder, louder and deeper, and make my stiff rear view mirror fall off?

I'm looking for a good 600 - 700 watt amp. Any recommendations? It'll be to power a pair of Audiopulse Epic 12s. Impediance doesn't matter. Just needs to be able to power a pair of Epic 12s. As for budget, I could spend up to 400.

Ok so im anticipating the arrival of my SP4 18" and i figured i get everything sorted out for when it arrives... My car is currently running the big 3 with 0gauge wire, 2 1000ca batteries, and factory 120amp alt. The amp im using is a hifonics zeus 3216 (3200@1ohm) and will be temporary until i can get a better amp. Will my electrical be good enough? Do i need to upgrade alt for 3k watts? Or can i just upgrade to 2 xs d3100s? Also what amps would u suggest that could give the sp4 the power it needs to do its job? Ive looked into the crescendo 3.5, dc audio 3.5,and soundqubed 4.5, any other suggestions and recommendations? ?

Alright. Today is such a good day out that I decided to start getting somethings tossed into the car (FINALLY!). I popped off the door panels (easy) and the floor panels (pain in the ass) to start running wires. I popped out the cd player as well and kind of went oh s**** because its a wiring nightmare in there... I have been looking around online now for at least an hour for wiring diagrams to see what goes to where and so far no luck... Any ideas where I can look (or does anybody have one?). The wiring diagram that came with the cdplayer is generic and doesn't look like its correct.

which do you prefer and why? Myself enjoy a good powerful 2 channel instead of a 4 channel.

So im about to buy a daily BTL 18 with cooling, the HiXm coil, and whatever color dustcap. (any one color look awesome to you guys?) I don't have much money for an amp, only about $400 so i'll probably buy a temporary one untill i get enough money (that sundown audio stuff is WAY too expansive...). Either way it's going to be at 2000 rms. This is the only aftermarket thing on my stereo (2009 mustang w/shaker 1000). A few days back I got in my car to head to a friends house. Started the car and as my head unit turned on I heard a sort of pop/thud noise coming from my trunk. It wasn't too loud, but I then noticed my sub wasn't playing. Looked back there and the amp wasn't on. It had worked fine the day before. I checked fuses, grounds, and the remote wire to make sure it was fine. Amp still wouldn't turn on. I opened up the amp and I didn't see any burn marks or any apparent damage, but I took some photos to see if any of you guys happened to know anything... this is a WHOLE new world for me. this is what i have come up with... ID CD1Pro's Some nice midbass Drivers...hoping to run them at 2 ohms if possible for 100w. any suggestions? and an EQ/crossover type thing, im really confused on how that works. Do i hook all my amps to a single EQ? do i need to run any wires to my HU? i want a cheap one, just enough to get by. i was thinking about just using my HU's crossovers to mess with everything, or should i buy xternal ones? but im really lacking in the EQ part... i dont think a 3-band would cut it with the horns all of this is going to be thru one 4 channel amp. any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated

I would like to know about all the different RCA cables like 2 channel, 4 channel, and 6 channel What goes best with a Sundown Audio Monoblock Amp and one sub? I plan on buying a 2 gauge Tsunami Wiring kit and it only has the power, ground, and remote so I have to buy a RCA seperate and I want to make sure I don't buy the wrong one. Thanks!

Looking for advice tuning my new deck. I have a Pioneer DEH 80prs, a Soundqubed 1200d running at 1 ohm with 2 12" alpine type x subs. I have my low pass filter set at 80hz on my deck but I don't know where to set my low pass filter at on my amp? I was told to just turn it up out of the frequency range of my subs but idk if that's right. Bass boost is at 0 and the subsonic filter at 10hz. Gain is at nominal power. I have my subwoofer level on my deck set to 0db. The crossover slope it at 18db. Automatic sound levelizer at high and source level adjuster at 0. Graphic equilizer is flat.
