Any idea when the DCON 8" woofers will be available. Looking to sell my IDQ12 and pick up four 8's instead

I'm new to this forum and after much research I'm 99% sure that I am going to go with a dcon 12 for my ford fusion build. My goal is sq with as little room taken in the trunk as possible. The sub will be running off the 300 watts of a jl 500/3. The only thing really holding me back is the box design. I want to go with a sloped box that follows the contours of the seat to keep the enclosure tucked under the rear deck/cross beam area. Nomore than 7 inches t the top and 12ish at the bottom spanning the length of the trunk area. Now, I keep reading that this sub really wants to be put in a ported enclosure with a low tune, but I'm not sure if that can be achieved with my s…

hey guys, i got a 98 Honda CRV and i was wanting to use the design for the 12" Xcon. wondering if anybody has had any positive or negitive experience with the boxes. any difference between optimal or small boxes? also i hear sub up, port back is best for hatchbacks..will there realy be a big difference if their on the same face? i was gunna have them both face to the back. any suggestions?

Glad I went down and picked up the 12 from you today, sounds louder than 3 P3's on a T3000.1, even with the prefab box. I am getting a box designed, will you be able to build it for me if I give you the sketch-up??

I had my sub and box out of my car because I was moving and didn't want to damage it. It was just sitting on a table in my house, and I went to put it back in my car, and the cone is dented. I have no idea whether someone in my house pushed on it or how it happened. Regardless, will this have a impact on how the sub works? I can take a picture later and post it, its about a 3 inch diameter dent on a 10" icon. Also, is there anyway to pop it back out?

I know I should have gotten an ICON 12 but I got the ICON 15 from W140 on here. Great seller and smooth transaction! He's going to get me in trouble with the wife since he's sold me my amp as well. Anyways, I'm a bit restricted on space since I need to fit a stroller in my trunk. I've measured my max dimensions for a sealed box and it comes to a net volume of 2 ft^3 after driver displacement. If I use 2 lbs of polyfill, will I still receive decent output and freq range? Sub is being powered by a Soundqubed 1200.1 running at 1 ohm.

Hey every one i orderd a dcon 12 on november 20th and i dont want to sound like im in a hurry but... i wanted to ask people that orderd the dcon in the past about how long it took to get it and thanks in advance for all that respond

Would three 10" Dcons be comparable to 1 15" Icon. Both with a Sundown sax1200, in a 3.5 cu box

Hi all, I'm considering a false floor, but depth will be a factor. I can't seem to find the depth for the 12 and 15" xcons on the site (store or the SSA site). Anyone got info to share? thanks

This could be a stupid question but I'm just wondering. The XCON package with the Saz-1500d. The Saz-1500d is the v.1 right? I know the v.2s dont come out until late december but I'm wondering so i can buy the Saz separate or just buy the package. Thanks for the input.

Here are the results to the SSA xCon 15" sub woofer in WinISD the enclosure is 4.0 cubic feet tuned to 28hz, I hope this helps. I noticed no one else has one out yet and these always help me greatly.

Thinkin about pre ordering the new sundown sae 1200 and doing a single 12 sub i know icon are rated at 1000wts and xcon at 1750. jacob has stated these new amps are pushing 1500, should i go icon and turn down gains or go xcon

will one of the predesigned encloseures for icon 12 work for gcons and do u think a sax 1200d would be good on 2 gcon 12s

my first post.. lol I know, but what better place to ask about icon's than the main " icon " thread area right? I was simply wanting to know if i'd be safe using 2 mm4000.1 on 8 10" icons, provided I do have very decent electrical in my opinion... I was wanting to know if the 10s could do the 1000ish per sub. They look awesomely built and have caught my attention for some time, but money has been going to other things recently as I clear out what I have left in my current system of dd/sundown. So I'm going to running the new XCON 15' D2 Subwoofer in a custom spare tire enclousure and I'm torn on SEALED OR PORTED@35hz? The car's goal is daily driver ""SQL"". SUNDOWN SAZ-1500D is the amp with MORE than enough upgraded electrical to support it.

Looked on the store page but there was not any woofer displacement for the Icon 12.
