As title says, Purchased product - march 30th 2013 (approx) Product received - may 31st 2013 (approx 2 month wait.. no big deal gonna be awesome right) Product self destruct - cone broke outwards 7-20-13 (powered by rf t1500.1, yellow top battery, plenty of breaking, cone broke outward not inward, and had a grill stepped off the box (after my gfs RE SX got a hockey skate through it i will never do a naked install again) Contacted company July 27th to inform them of the issue, simple dust cap replacement, no big deal they promised me to ship it out asap. Man I had to list this on here for people. Killer deal here! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110617679132&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT How much power do these need to get moving? Also does anybody know how they perform compared to an ICON series sub? Thanks. -

Hey, here very soon I will be buying an xcon, the problem is i drive a 1995 honda prelude and the trunk is not very big at all and to put a 15" in the trunk i would most likely need to build the box inside the trunk, and I've been through that before, it sucked. my question is how much of a difference would there be between the 12 and 15? it would be hooked up to an saz 1500. thanks Jordan -

Name will be finalized shortly, as will specs, price and availability, so if you ask any of those questions I don't have an answer just yet. This is long over due, as we have needed an 8" sub for a decade now. Those of you who have been along for the ride, might remember we had a Dcon8 built 9 years ago, but production never happened due to cost of making it here in the USA. Production has not been kicked off yet, but we are VERY close. Some minor changes inside (unable to be seen from photos below) are being made to the design before we kick off. I am very pleased from the performance of the prototype and the output is very strong for an 8. It is a lower Qts.… -

We are going to be keeping a 30 driver inventory on hand for more efficient shipping time. This will be a great buffer between SSA and the build house, so in most cases after our inventory arrives, SSA subs will have a 24 hr shipping time frame! This is all in effort to get YOU, the customer a better shopping experience! :drink40: :drink40: -

I feel really dumb asking this, but are the prices on the Dcon what they always are? I can't remember from when I bought my first Dcon, but they seem to be lower than I remember. If that's the case, then I know what I'll be getting for my birthday (a 12" this time). -

First off I want to say I'm not trying to start anything just a thought that came to my mind. As a team are you guys more the daily/ground pounder type? I know ssa subs are geared towards sq/groundpounders so I was just wondering if you guys do the sq thing or if you do go for numbers? -

I bought an SSA Icon 10 from my son a while back. My son is SQJEEP here. We got around to building the box for it. We used the box design in the tech section. Fantastic box design....We built it exactly to the design and holy shit this thing pounds. We did the 1.35 cubes. It's not finished yet but here are some pics. It's running off a Zed built Usacoustics USA 2150 bridged and rated at 500 watts. Please note....The panel sticking up in the back is the amp rack and it is going to be replaced. It's the old one and it's just in there temporarily.
