Trying to plan my system for when taxes come in. Trying to find out if I can fit two of these in my xb. Will be sealed cus I suck at making ported boxes and not sure if 2 sealed will fit or not. Measured the cargo area to be 7.49cf if I did my math right. Area was 38*20*17 for dimensions. Could go an inch or two higher on the height (20). Hopefully powered by a saz3000d. Dc 320 amp alt. Just trying to figure out how much to save up before taxes come. Also I would have to order d1 coils for that amp right?

All, I'm looking to run a pair of 12's in a sealed enclosure (1.00-1.25 ft^3 per) @ 600W RMS to each sub. Would I be losing any significant performance by under powering these subwoofers? I understand that they are rated for 750W RMS but I am limited to a total of 1200W RMS and would like to run 2-12s in a sealed enclosure due to my trunk-space limitations. Also, should these perform well in a relatively small sealed enclosure or is 1.0-1.25 FT^3 too little? What is the current lead time on the GCONS? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, SnapperKing

I have an Icon 10" from 2009. Can anyone tell me what gen model this is and the rated RMS? Also are the enclosure recommendations on the website for the current icon about the same? Thanks in advance.

Here's a few shots that JBLCAMRY took of his new subs. He has four of these going into his little GEO ground pounder. These are still in the prototype stage and being tested by JBLCAMRY to make sure they can hang with our quality of woofers. New Features include: -- Extra Stiff suspension for better power handling -- XCON type dustcap -- Sandwiched Tinsel Leads Enjoy Once we are happy with the outcome of this, we will post official pics of them. Hope you guys are as excited as we are about these.

So to get things going I used to run 2 sa12 on a bc2000 in my 04 cavalier.. Sold car with subs went about 5 years without any subwoofer. Got into bikes mostly other week was browsing craigslist for some cheap setup to throw in the focus well ended up coming across the post about ssa opening up in norwood he'll that's 5 min from me so I headed on down. That's where I met the man Mark Lafountain and shit just fell into place I foolishly bought a dcon and sealed kaotic 10 box from him only to want more a couple days later. At this point I was using loc tapped into the front speakers ., WASTE OF TIME stock unit eq out the bass.. Mark said when he heard it something does…

Today I wrapped up our testing on the final prototype Icon. We are going to production very shortly now. The long story short, the Icon is ready. It was really tested in depth today, ALL kinds of music, from passive listening to full clip for a long time. Not once was there any sign of thermal limits. This new version keeps that same full, warm and surrounding bass the original Icon was known for, bringing a little more punch and attack with an upgrade of added power handling and thermal limits and a little more abuse tolerance. By the way, the Icon bulked up 4 lbs. REALLY happy with this new version, we have something special in this power segment. More pix and v…

hey guys, trying to figure out what to use- recommended enclosure looks to be about the same, I may do about 4.5cuft ported for the pair of them, tuned around 30ish? (lower maybe I see recommend down to 26hz?) I've always felt the enclosures I've built down around 30hz have had plenty of low end but I've never tuned one that low so maybe I don't know what I'm missing. Going in a 2007 acura rdx (fancy cr-v) amp is a mmats 3k, wondering if I should slightly over power the icons or have a damn reliable pair of xcons. 90% of the time they'll be babied by my significant other as it's her DD. the other 10% of the time i'll be abusing the crap out of them when I drive it. I prob…

I'M looking to build a louder setup. I currently had a Dcon 10" in a 1.15 cu/ft tuned to 31hz drived by a Memphis PRD1000.1 at 4 ohm( 300rms but never clamped it..) I got the space build optimal box spec of those woofer but probably 5 cu/ft at 30hz.I like low tuned box.I listen to every style of music so i need good reponse. IDK what way go.. Buy 3 other Dcon or 2 Icon 12" ?? For sure, I'll bought an other amp to well feed those woofers even if a keep Dcon line.. A solid 2000rms amp and i'll be gently with the gain.I like my driver cause it's sound very clear and i'm satisfied by is reponse. Opinions? Thanks
