  2. Hello, I am wondering if anyone would happen to know how big of a box and a great tuning frequency for a Incriminator Audio Judge 15" sub? T/S parameters would also be greatly appreciated. I just need to know the basics really, I can figure out the rest with BassBox Pro 6. So far I just been kinda guessing on what the box size should be. What I have gotten, was 5.5 Cubed tuned to 29Hz.

I'm in the market for a new front stage and I'm thinking about trying a component set. I listen to mostly rap and hip hop, sometimes dubstep. I'm looking at the Incriminator audio 6.5" components because they seem to have some good feedback and well in my price range. Would you guys recommend these to me? Or anything else you guys recommend? They will be in stock door locations. The 6.5s in stock location and tweeters in stock a pillar locations. Will be getting clean 100rms to each side. Gains turned down. I'm not too familiar with comp sets and what to look for. I'm just looking for some good SQ with some loudness. Thanks for your help guys. Sorry if what I've posted …

  5. So I’ve narrowed my choices down to the FI Q Neo 15 and the FI BTL Neo 15. My indecision is which would be best for my tastes/application. I’ve never had a system as quality as what I’m looking to get into, so I’d like to get everything right and feel satisfied with the end result. I’ve had 1 15” l7 and 2 12” l7 over the last 6 years. Both systems were adequate, however, the most recent system being the 2 12s wasn’t put together properly by the audio shop I had install and build the box for them to be housed in. Long story short; the box and wiring didn’t jive with the setup, which burnt my coils and broke the surround on both subs. They were dual 4 ohm wired to a Hifonic…

With a budget of $600 what individual comps would you order from Madisound to fill out your system. Your size choices are limited to 7inches for the woofer, 4 inch mid and 1 inch for the tweeter.

well i have a set of alpine type r 6x9's that i used to use for the rear fill, ever since june when i got my k's the pressure would build inside the trunk and distort the hell out of type r's in the rear deck. so they have been sitting in my room for some time now and i was thinking about making a set of Infinite baffel kick panels for them. i was considering getting some crystal comp set, but i wanted to see what i could do with what i already have and save some money hopefully. i want Infinite baffel because i know they will sound good like that and because the trunk used to act like a giant box for them. so what do you guys think about this here idere? al

Hello, I've been planning an in-car IB set up for about 3 months now, I finally ordered and received a Fi IB3 18 a little while back. It's going to be hard to get an 18.5" diameter in a trunk opening to the cabin... but I'm creative. I need a bunch of pics and vids for some inspiration and some ideas... please help! Thanks in advance. Krypto

So yet again for the umpteenth time I am changing my sub bass setup. Now that I have an excellent sounding front stage an over powering sub system ruins it. My front stage is also very loud, loudest front stage I ever had. Although I am not looking for the output I have had in previous sub bass setups it still needs have a volume level to match my front stage. One thing I can not have is a large enclosure. Largest possible would be 3 cubes gross. I am thinking about going IB. I would not have to mess around with an enclosure and from what I have read they are the most accurate sounding sub bass types. I keep eyeing up the Fi IB3 series but what other options are there? M…

  11. There seems to be a lot of misconception about an infinite baffle, so here goes my stab at it with a link to a forum that has a lot of dedication and experience to them. What I have gathered: A baffle is a board a speaker driver is mounted to. When a speaker is not attatched to anything, and the front and rear wave are completely allowed to go around the driver and are not in any way isolated or coupled, it is free air. When it is on a baffle, the sound waves are forced to travel further to intersect. The smaller the baffle, the higher waves (upper frequencies) are no longer cancelling out as the baffle separates them. As we increase the baffle size, the longer it gets, …

I have the discontinued infinity reference three way six by nines. There's a +3db switch on the tweeter housing, are they normally attenuated, or how does that work? i was thinking about turning the switch on, and i wasn't sure if it may cause any damage? I have them powered by a 2010 Rockford P400-4. Their nominal impedance is 2.67 ohms so i would think their getting decent power.

so while i was looking at how much RE componets would cost i found a site that offers RE speakers. 6x9" 6" 6.5". so my question is would the RE speakers keep up better with 4 15" ssds then the kappas would? would be using the zxi-6410 to power them. the kappas i was looking at would be the 6"x9" 3 way, 6-1/2" 3-way, 5-1/4" 2-way. (one pair of each) if i decide to go with RE it would be the RE Audio (Resonant Engineering) RE 6x9 FR 6"x9" Full-Range Speakers looks like a 3way, 6" 2 way, 6.5" 2 way. (one pair of each) the price seems to be low compared to the kappa's but i know RE has a great name with audio. i was going to order the speakers at the end of the month. s…

Hi guyz, I'd like to know a few things: Can the 5" midbass in the Clarus line be bought individually? What is the mounting depth? I have 250rms of clean power, what crossover frequency would you recommend? 125hz @ 18dB ok? or higher? Here's what I am planning: Eclipse CD7200mkII Image Dynamics CD1Ev.3 horns -- DLS A2 HAT Clarus 5" -- DLS A4 bridged Stereo Integrity BM 12" (when released) -- DLS A2 I want to put the subwoofer underneath the driver's seat in my BMW 316ti. Believe I have enough space. Since I am not concerned about subwoofer localization (LP 80hz and less). I can LP the sub higher @ for example 200hz @ 18dB. (I know this is not subwoofer material but just wa…

So I noticed Mach 5's got something in the works with the IXL 8". Was wondering if there's any updates on these?? I'm going to run a quad 8" setup and am down to my final choices of subs; DD 1508 and the RE RE8. I'll highly consider the IXL if it will rival these. ps It's great to see a Canadian company making some waves in the audio world. CHEERS FROM RED DEER!!

I was sent a Mach 5 SPL 12 to test. I recieved it today and checked it out really well as far as build quality and design. My 1st impression when I opened the cardboard box was hmmmmmm, a crate. I didn't know they came in crates, which caught me off guard at first. While I like the way the crate looks, it really didn't protect the subwoofer any better than a box with foam padding. Upon opening the crate, the foam was in tact, but the wood was busted up pretty badly, however, the subwoofer sustained no damage as far as I can tell, so it did it's job. Now for the good things I noticed upon initial inspection: o Glue joints are flawless, there's no excess glue anywhere…
