Hey all! Im in the market for a beefy little 10" woofer that will get loud and sound good doing it too! I'm lookin for something that can offer me great sq as well as great spl. I listen to rap/hiphop, country, dance/techno and some rockish music. I also get into stuff like Dave Matthews Band as well... Now days the new Fi Q's are rated for 1500 RMS stock, 1700-1900 RMS with cooling while the AA Havoc is rated for 1250. In searching older reviews and comparisons I have read that for the most part the Havoc plays better down low but I don't know if it will handle the 1800-1900 watts RMS daily the Crescendo BC3500D will be giving it. I would like for the enclosure to be 5.0 net cubes tuned to a medium of 31 Hz either way and I prefer lower end deep and ground-pounding bass in the 28-36hz range more than anything. like my title says. someone offered me 2 15" mtx 9500's in a nice ported box for just my 2 solo x's. I used to have 2 12" 9500's and loved them but had to seel due to my financial state haha. so what u all think? i only have 300 in the x's. is this one of those deals i should not pass up???? Been looking into 15" driver's that work really well in small sealed enclosures 2cubes and below. The old power series of Rockford fosgate hx2 caught my attention with the recommended size of 1.25 sealed for a 15(before sub displacement). Is that correct does the driver hit a low enough frequency response in that recommended size of box? Just had the rf,dc lvl3,dayton ho on my list of drivers....Is this worth my time looking at a older style driver?

With the BTL being fully loaded and the HD being D2, which has the best ability to create the highest spl in a proper box with 2 Audioque 2200's

So here is my situation I have a Sundown 3500D in my car. It is a BMW 328i with factory everything. Im trying to jump on the sale and buy either an XCON or a ZCON. However, what is stopping me is the rated power. I plan on getting a single 12". It will, of course, be powered by the Sundown 3500D. Because it will be just one subwoofer (due to trunk space), I plan on getting a Dual 1ohm voice coil (so I can get a final load of 2ohms). My question is, should I proceed and get the XCON (which at 2ohm, will be fully powered @ 1750 RMS) or get the ZCON (which would be underpowered considering its rating is 2250 RMS and I would only be feeding it 1750 RMS). with shipping the hdc3 is 339 and the bl with the ups i need will also be 339. i am getting the hdc3 with copper coil... if thats what i get. i have an AQ2200 amp so i am wanting a pair of 18s.... i have been told great things about both subs. i had a BL a month ago and it was great. but i want to be smart about this and get what is best for what i am going to be doing to my car. the hdc has a xmas of 17-19 mm were the bl has like 21 i think. the bl also has a higher sensitity of 92.6 and the hdc3 has a sensitivity of like 89.something but just because it has a higher xmas and sensitivity does it mean it will be louder? i am going to buy a pair of 18s but which one of the…

I have the discontinued infinity reference three way six by nines. There's a +3db switch on the tweeter housing, are they normally attenuated, or how does that work? i was thinking about turning the switch on, and i wasn't sure if it may cause any damage? I have them powered by a 2010 Rockford P400-4. Their nominal impedance is 2.67 ohms so i would think their getting decent power.

Hey guys. I noticed the prices dropped a little bit on the new TC Sounds drivers. The LMS-R 12 is now $269. Anyone here have any experience with the newer TC drivers? I know the old ones were well praised. How would the lms-r compare to an Icon? I am just always curious and noticed the price and I just started thinking.

I am looking to replace my 6.5" components that are in my front door. I currently have Boston acoustic pro60se and have blown my mid bass woofers due to way to much power (who would have guessed haha). I have the new T1000-4 amplifier and the birth sheet says 394 rms x 4 at all impedance. I'm looking for a set of components that can handle all of the power and sound really good doing it. I have been looking at the jbl 660gti because they claim they can take a max of 600rms per speaker/tweeter. I want to know if anyone has heard these speakers before. I'm just wondering what you guys do to have you're front stage keep up with your bass, cause I have Infinity 6x8 componets and the midrange is just not there when I got my bass on full tilt. So does everyone just get a custom door panel made and put a bunch of speakers in there or is there some speakers that can handle a lot of wattage or what? Maybe infinity perfects would be better I don't know I just want some really loud treble and midrange to keep up with 2 15's right behind me head

Hey everyone im new to car audio. I am planning on doing something not too small and not too big for my first setup. I kinda have everything planned out i need some help from u guys too tell me what i should do and whats best for me. I have been looking at the 15" FI Q for a while now and was wondering if there were any others out that i should consider. As far as an amp I was looking at the Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D. It will be going into a toyota tundra with the access cab. I will be taking the back seat out. Also I have stock electrical, would i need to do anything with it?
