Pretty sure it's not monetary. There have been some very public and very very badly handled deals on here made public with DC. They showed a negative side time and time again, with a new excuse. They tried to delete things and cover it up and it left a bad taste in many members' mouths. They left the forum because the mod staff did not allow them to cover shit up. They may have the best product, but to some, the way they have done some business has cost them some business.

He was a good guy, but as soon as he thought it was a good idea to team up with Sound Digital (who have a hard on for Stetsom), then tells me Mach5 is getting out of the industry and to take down the section. Only to see a couple months later, there is a section up on CrapCo..... now he is done with it? After Stereo Integrity and Mach5 pulled that, I am no longer helping another brand because there is ZERO loyalty or gratitude in this stupid bullshit dance. Sorry to hear that you guys got the short end of the stick there. Unfortunately people have become increasingly ungrateful for people giving them some help or a fair shot. I know I have been guilty of that before myself. J It's ok. Mark warned me. It was my morals and good nature that has continued to get in the way of our business growth.

Using the ZED amp? Yes Sir. 3&4 2.5 ish would be a great start on that power.

most would say there no advantage over 0/1 i my self would do it anyway.. maybe just 1 run but yeah... as far as lugs go.. when your shopping you have to keep in mind, that most 4/0 connections are going to be for home use.. the bigger stranted wire, and in my experiance AC 4/0 or 2/0 is smaller then auto 4/0 or 2/0 so be carefull of what you order. i ordered 2/0 lugs on ebay by the peice.. but they were AC and they are smaller then normal but i was useing them for 2 runs of 1/0 so it was fine.

Also another thing you may want to think about is if you can find heat-proof tubing (loom, I think it's called?) that'll fit the wire...You don't really want the jacket of the wire to be it's only defense. Aside from that I have all the same questions you do. And wouldn't you need a huge ass fuse (and fuse holder like you said) for that one run of wire?

it really depends if you get a 4, 2, or 1 ohm stable amp... then you wanna match the subs to the amp. lets say u get a 1 ohm stable amp (which most d class amps are 1 ohm stable) you can get 2, dual 1 ohm subs to get 1 ohm for the amp. this will help http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp

No no, it was a joke. I am getting FI Q's. I had a 15in Q in 3.6cu tuned at 29hz and it murdered the lows. My truck peaked at 30hz with that setup. I liked it so much I ordered 2 18's. LOL

The one's I owned were only the MA series, an MA100XE and a pair of MA150XE's. They did fine on output, just weren't the least bit impressive on the quality of sound. Between a little mechanical noise and a lackluster response they just didn't impress me. As for the 3-3.5cuft per sub, well, it's in the range for the drivers as given by the manufacturers. The port area and tuning will have an affect as well as the vehicle environment. Believe me, I understand that it's frustrating that no one is giving real straight answers. You have to understand that absolutely NO ONE can predict exactly what the results are going to be from each product and tell you with certainty which one will suit you better. The recommendations given so far are from those peoples personal experiences and have to be weighed as such. I believe that either choice will give good results as both are proven performing drivers.

I need an approximately 10" tube that is nearly ready for paint....or a better idea. I'd like to upgrade my boat tower speakers to something with more balls, but that requires an enclosure. Coating a sonotube in fiberglass to make it weather proof and then sanding it smooth enough to paint sounds to me like a major failure. Depending on the diameter I am going to stuff an 8" or 10" Faital Pro mid in it, unless I find something else weather treated and better. The four little bullets currently house JL 6.5's which don't have enough balls. This would allow me an "excuse" to put the Pio 880 in the boat
