  1. Got a deal on a second bc5500. Gonna strap them at .5 on the sp4s
  2. For those that haven't seen this.. it's awesome. This is a full size life-like 3D hologram of Tupac rapping with Snoop- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajVGIRsKXdo
  3. They are around 31lbs if my memory serves me correct. Single baffle is fine, just obviously, a double baffle is better for strength, but you should be just fine. Enjoy your New/Old ICON.
  4. A single 4" port will work just fine. Just build it and try it. As long as you are using an actual flared port you won't have port noise with that setup. More then likely you will be very impressed with the end result.
  5. You waste no time!
  6. Looking very nice sir. I will be interested to see how the sound changes with the larger cabin space.
  7. Magic equation, get off the high heart rate and start working the muscles. It's the opposite for speed and distance, but it won't hurt that to build some muscle.
  8. That kinda gangsta?
  9. I don't game too much anymore but I am cheesed for this.
  10. 1 point
www.bladeice.com Contact Am, he is the UK distributor.
  11. I would keep the xovers as close to the speakesrs as you can get because a change in impedance will change the xover points.
  12. I will be running the Polk Audio MMC690 MOMO 3-ways in my boat. I LOVE how these things wail in the midrange!! Larger Images Polk Audio MOMO MMC690 The Boat, circa 1991 at Powell.
  13. LED's are fucking confusion. I just want to make an array of SUPER bright blue's. Glue them to a hunk of aluminum that will be exposed to water and epoxy seal a lens on the front.
  14. Awesome build for sure!!!
  15. Thanks Jaycee. Hard to believe it is a 2005 with 84,000 miles on it and I am still going to go sealed. Videos are a must with creepy things!
  16. Ok so I ran some wires and hooked up one amp. Here are some pictures from the day.
  17. IAK. STarting bears box tomorrow, The decaware wicked one. SHould be interesting pretty excited cant wait to see how it turns out.
  18. Looks killer man you've inspired me to make my own rca's. I had planed on it awhile back but now Ive gotta do it lol. Oh and i think alot of people severely underestimate what a Z can do they are seriously mean drivers.
  19. 2.0^3ft tuned to 33hz will be just fine for a single 12" Z.3 I choose the Z.3 as well. I like to be able to get nuts with the volume control once in a while but my real passion is for clean, detailed music. The Z.3 fits the bill. Amazing driver.
  20. Still a LONGGGG way off from a 50. I'd shot for 143-45 range for now.
  21. Oh yeah. Going to the gym also made my penis larger and I pull more bishes. Guess who isn't paying into taxes for the first time in many years?
  22. Let's pray it fits in my door.
  23. good question & some great answers too
  24. Well, strictly unbiased opinion, I would try the BC. Is there a reason, nope lol. I guess it depends on preference from your end. Like your budget, the room you have to work with, which amp draws less current, which puts out more at 2ohm load, etc.
  25. Thanks Stefan! I gotta say, this single 18" Z.3 is f'n nuts! Sounds amazing and gets as loud as I hoped it would! I am anxious to hear how this sub system is going to sound after the sub is broken in. My Excessive amperage alt and external regulator are holding voltage consistently at 14.5v, even during heavy bass hits. I can get the voltage to dip into the 13's if I adjust the volume waaaayyyy up. 50' of 4/0 is ordered Glad to hear the Z3 is sounding good, and loud.
  26. I guess it doesn't matter that the 4/0 is almost $1 cheaper than the kolossus 1/0 (2/0 awg)?
  27. Also you will notice I turned it so the subs face foward.
  28. good looking build, xcon builds always get my rocks off
  29. Thanks guys. I will make a video maybe Monday or Tuesday, I work all weekend 12hr shifts. I would rather not wall the truck.
  30. alot of room to grow still chuck.....plenty of reach still on this install! senchez, really......that is a sad day when you feel you need to be paid to help your elders out. back in chuck's day, he walked to school in 12 feet of snow, uphill! only to walk back uphill to return home and work the land for 8-12 hours in the blistering sun! all so you would have a promising future! you should respect your elders and want to help them.... old chuck remembers when the dead sea was still just sick!!!
