  1. Now available on the SSA Store: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/categories/Sub-Woofers/Incriminator-Audio/I-Series/
  2. Wow. I'm done. Good luck.
  3. It's not nuthugging, rather disdain towards the other company. Like you, I believe the OP is under the assumption that his driver is under warranty and this will net him a completely new driver as a replacement for the one with the loose dust cap.
  4. I assumed he meant replacing the sub with new one of that sub. Perhaps he can clarify. Deyoung I don't doubt that but it seems pretty stupid to suggest him buying a whole new sub when there's a simple fix ( assuming my first statement holds true) Sorry if I'm coming off harsh but I really don't want to see the nutthuggery I see all the time on other forums. Especially if he is happy with the sub and some glue would fix his problem.
  5. Why suggest he spends more money when all he has to do is glue the dustcap back on
  6. Simple answer is because the Gcon has a more compliant suspension (meaning it's not as stiff) as indicated primarily by it's larger Vas and secondarily by it's lower Fs. The Vas of the Gcon is almost twice that of that SA, since they are both 15's (which means Sd will be approximately equivalent) that means the compliance of the Gcon's suspension must be about twice that of the SA. And although the suspension of the Gcon is almost twice as compliant, the SA's moving mass is nearly 60% heavier, which is why their Fs' are only ~10% different. Vas plays a significant factor in determining how a driver will respond to a given enclosure volume, Qts and Fs play dominate rolls in determining the shape of that response. Generally speaking, a driver with a larger Vas is going to need a larger enclosure for a given response/alignment. If we place both drivers in the same enclosure, the Gcon is going to "see" that enclosure volume as being relatively "smaller" compared to the SA, which is why the response for the Gcon rolls off a little sooner (and it's group delay will be a little lower)
  7. Amps: Bass Cleff Series BC2000D, BC3500D, BC5500D Concerto Series C1600.2, C1100.4 Tweeters: XST2 Super Tweeters (8 ohm) FT1/FT1-SE Tweeters (4 or 8 ohm) Crossovers: XST2-CX In-line Crossover (4 or 8 ohm) As far as I know new components are coming soon as well as PWX model pro audio mids, the MP model pro audio mids are discontinued.
  8. Yep, as Sean said go for the 4 SA-15s if you have the room. More cone area will net you greater results over more power, or more motor strength. Once you have the maximum cone area you are willing to sacrifice space for in your application, you can start upgrading motors and power to get more excursion.
  9. They sound a bit different and tighter than the v.1s and they definitely hit the lows better.
  10. ^^x2 lol nice work
  11. Really not that big of a deal, just glue it back down with some CA glue.
  12. Ok well call me a nut hugger. Fine. I would rather support my community than give that shit head any money. Don't shit where you eat. Sorry op if I mis understood you.
  13. I say switch to a ssa gcon.
  14. Well I just ordered another amp and will just run the good knob instead. They will be strapped
  15. Lol. Yup. I think the red should look good with the matte black.
  16. Funky Pup's Bro! Dont let that motor fool you, straight up Kryptonite.
  17. ^ Win But, have you looked into the Dcons, Incriminator I's, Skar IVX's, or Sundown E's? All rated at 300w and at 200w a piece should sound nice.
  18. People also seem to have good luck with http://www.truenutrition.com/, and Dymatize Elite / ON Gold Std.
  19. Amps mounted and now I am ready to put the battery in there some where.
  20. I will have to check those out!
  21. Box looks good man I also built a second box for my two 12 btl mine got louder and sounds way better at 32hz rather than 35hz good job.
  22. will you be putting this type of deal with the xcon?
