i like to break mine in with a little, wine, perhaps a candle lite bubble bath, some kenny G in then back ground,... i like to relax them.. then poundem hard. no really. just pound them.
  2. This will be a random assortment of photos I've taken... ENJOY!!!
  3. Keep up the great work!
  4. You still got room for a 12 pack!
  5. Yes the Hifonics stuff is pretty good entry level stuff. I agree with the Fi Q or SSA Icon suggestions a Single 15 would probably fit your goals the best. I would also suggest you making your own box with a design from one of the many designers out there. This will save you a lot of money and give you some good experience. All you really need is a circular saw and a jig saw to make a simple box.
  6. I second that. The DCON is a great sub that definitely belies its seemingly low power rating. I have a link to the review I wrote for my sister's DCON in my signature.
  7. I see no problem with his interest...

DD was the inventor of the term break in due to the crappy spiders they use(d)
  9. Go with the optimal ported enclosure design and enjoy! The DCON is an awesome driver for the money!
  10. The remaining parts should be in shortly. 250 watts is plenty for a Dcon.
  11. There is also some pre-designed enclosure available http://soundsolutionsaudio.com/index.php/product-information/dcon.html if you are handy and have the tools you can make it your self, if not, as rick pointed out above TRP and DC creations both make good boxes.
  12. This answers the when DC creations and TRP make great boxes that they can ship to you. With 250 watts I'd shoot for 2-2.25 cubes net tuned to 34 hz.

Lol...I like the way you break yours in. I might have to try that.
  14. if he " shipped it" then he should have no problems providing a tracking number.
  15. Or post here, the response is surprisingly fast. Faster than companies that let voicemail answer and call back...

nothing but myth..they break in over time, just play them and set your subsonic filter properly
  17. i dont give a damn about not givin a damn. I'd like to see that video.
  18. I was once a Sony ES, then Eclipse only guy. HATED Pioneer. Bought an 880PRS several years ago and I think any deck I buy from now on will be a top level Pioneer.

Nobody here thinks you're tough. So just stop. Also, this isn't twitter. Use actual words when you type, please.
  20. the owner was the 2nd guy to comment on your post... i think you'll have no problem reaching them via email or through the forum.
  21. SSA answers their emails very fast. And you have the forum too ! Very good CS so far, for me.
  22. They dont have all the time in the world to have calls always coming in, they would not have time to make sure orders are being processed. It makes it easier on them to do email CS.
  23. Scientists recently discovered that beer contains small traces of female hormones. This was proven by giving 100 men 12 pints of beer each and observed that an astonishing percentage, 100%, started talking nonsense and couldn’t drive.
  24. looking forward to seeing the build ,pics & vids i say start a new thread
  25. It's not 15 days MAX. Nowhere on the website is it GUARANTEED to be done and shipping out by the 15th day. I ordered the PR's for the Jimmy on Feb. 27th and was given a 4 week lead time on them. I didn't receive them until the 4th of May. Have patience, it's worth the wait, period.
  26. Just email them. Waste of forum space...
  27. check if the sub has dime size holes on the side of the sub. you can see a copper coil. if you hav the small holes you should hav full cooling
