  1. Welcome! I'm sure that I could name the other site without too much trouble
  2. Hi guys, so here to show a short write up of my recently purchased HIDs from DDMTuning.com. First image is of what was all purchased. I will note that I first made order on Jan 1st, it was accepted on the 3rd, and received shipping number on the 4th. I basically did not see any update until it was here state side from China. I was told all 55watt ballasts are shipped from China. I also was never contacted back from their support team which was reached out twice via email and once via facebook. Items arrived on the 19th in NY, and arrived at my local post office the morning of 21st and arrived at my door on the 22. This image of the packageing. Here is whats in the box 55watt Ballast Error Eliminator H13 Hi/Low Ligh Bulb H10 Light Bulb Next are the before pictures Please, keep in mind, that I blacked out my headlights, as well as the fog lights. Ever since doing this, my visibility has droped dramatically. Basically relying on street lights. Outside driver side: If you notice, majority of my light output is coming from my fog lights, which you can tell by the amber light. About 12 ft from wall, outside passenger side: Driver seat: Those two pictures above are a bit deceiving, as I was surrounded by complete blackness, during city drive, the light output was no where near this. Next, are a few install pics I used two 5lb double sided tape per ballast: And there was LIGHT! Please note, thanks to Bassahaulic, that for my paticular application, I had to switch the neg/pos for the fogs. And finally, some after pictures About 5 ft in front: If you have your light darken as well, I would suggest going one less K level than you desired results, as you can see, they are reaching into the purple hue, which is not what I wanted, but this is caused by the black paint, is what I'm assuming. I would order the 6000k if I could do it over again. In this picture, you can see that I can finally see a pretty good amount several yards away now. Also, I have taken some highway damage on my headlights, which has resulted in paint chip in the passenger headlight, about the size of a dollar coin. I can clearly see that the black paint is holding back a really big amount of light output. I would definately go with a much lighter black next time. Passenger side of above image: Outside of passenger door: Again: In driver seat looking at same wall: Driver side looking at same wall: Here is about 10 parking spots down, directly in front: Same distance, but at a angle of oncoming traffic: And thats it for the pictures I've tooken. Conclusion: Pros: I absolutely love the product. The instrustions provided via website are very clear, and with pictures! The construction is really top notch as well. Very good connections, REALLY great detail to the safety and longjevity of the equipment as well with great insulation, heat protection, very solid connections, the whole nine yards. I really love the lack of advertisements as well. I can see where they really cut down on cost because of it. You willl not find a single DDM logo anywhere. I would buy again. Cons: The first thing that comes to mind is the definately the Customer Service. I have yet been contacted by. Now, I'm pretty sure they get flooded with shipping emails, but I was in no hurry, was simply looking for an update since my shiping order said it was being prep'd for shipping for over two weeks. Also the lack of details of items in store, I now have an extra harnes and error eliminator because it was not clear that they came in pairs. There was no package packing either. All equipment was simply in those little white boxes seen above, I could see where shipping damage could be a problem. That wraps up this review, thanks for viewing.
  3. Benefit Raffle for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Raffle with all proceeds going to St Jude Childrens Research Hospital $10 a ticket Send gift through PayPal to [email protected] Seven prizes: 15" SSA ICON 12” SSA GCON, 10" SSA GCON, 12” SSA DCON, SSA Dickies Shirt, (2) SSA Store $25 Coupon Codes Raffle will last one month and end on February 24th, 2013. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story On November 6th, 2012 my wife and I welcomed our first child into this world. Lucille Louise DeYoung was born 10 weeks premature into the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She spent 64 days in the NICU and came home to us January 9th, 2013. My wife’s pregnancy was a struggle from the beginning. After many complications, being told that we would more than likely lose the baby, and a few trips to the E.R. they finally admitted her (28 weeks pregnant) and told us that she was going to stay until they decided it was time to deliver the baby. After just a few days they decided that it was no longer safe for the baby and that she needed to come out. Lucy was born a perfectly healthy baby at 3 pounds 2 ounces, perfect all except for her brain. A MRI done a few days after her birth revealed that she suffered a large amount of brain damage. This left my wife and I with so many questions that the doctors could not answer. What does this mean? Will she ever go to school? Ride a bike? Walk? Talk? We still don’t know the answers to these questions but there one thing we do know: She is our miracle baby and the she has already progressed farther than the doctors were expecting. I am not telling you this story for sympathy but to bring awareness to Lucy’s and other children’s situations. My wife and I would like to raise money for children’s research and help prevent our situation from happening to others. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Raffle Each ticket will cost $10 each. I do not frequent many forums, so if you would like to share it on any other please do. I would like to thank my wife. She is the toughest person I know, without her strength, Lucy would not be here today. I would also like to thank SSA (Aaron and Mark) for allowing me to do this on their website and for the great products they offer. Thank you for your time, Sean DeYoung

  5. Oh I am more worn out from hearing about something else constantly, all day long, 7 days a week. When will my subs ship?
  6. Depending on your wire ur not gonna be able to pull the max amount of current anyway. I think 25ft of 1/0 is like 400A. But you would be fine with 300A IMO given eff. I found tis to be pretty helpfull and funn if you want to deal with numbers...
  7. Speaking of Mustangs I finally got my 1964 1/2 home!! And finally in my garage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The stock 289... hopped up of course. And already collecting parts. I have lots of plans for this beauty.
  8. this is great guys! thank you
  9. I have owned big beautiful houses. I decided this is my last house before retirement. This is the smallest house I have owned, and least flashy of the bunch. It has what I wanted, plus an inground pool. It took me a little too long to realize that a house is what you make of it. Buy too big, or too expensive, and you become a slave to it. I used to give a shit what people thought of my houses and cars. Now, I don't give a fuck. I have no car payments, and my house payments are less then my cheapest rental house's rent. I shovel my money into retirement. Character gains you nothing, but it costs a lot. Buy cheap, buy just what you need, and retire wealthy.
  10. unhook rcas from amp, power back on. measure dc voltage at amp and see what it says. If your lights are dimming and that's the only amp you have pulling aftermarket current, then sounds like your altbattery(ies) are dying as well if you do not inspect and fix immediately.
  11. I sure am liking them. I traveled almost 300 miles today at mid volume and loved it!
  12. Welcome! I'm sure that I could name the other site without too much trouble Oops triple post fail Give me your guess and I may tell you if you are right Es Em Dee?

  16. I see your dirt and raise you snow Too bad it's some lame junior class. None of the pro's run a cam and share
  17. This is a on going process to keep all our sites up to our standards. People might not realize how much Mark does behind the scenes with the unseen part of the sites.
  18. Damn make sure you anchor that thing down. That will kill you in an accident.
  19. Let me say this one thing I learned is by going check and doing things another way instead of doing them right the First time I would end up not being happy so I would go back and do it right and end results were ended up spending more money then I should have needed to spend in the beginning. So like I do now is of I'm going to do something ill do it right the first time its a bit more money but in the long run it ends up being the cheaper way....do sub up port back and limo tint and you will be really happy
