will it suffice
1 pointDVC, dual voice coil = two voice coils. Each 1ohm. 2x1ohm=2ohms What impedance the amplifier will see is actually a bit more complicating than wiring to "1ohm" or "2ohm," etc, but in this circumstance the above should suffice for your question. Before your purchase you can use this calculator to find out the wiring options: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp1 point

will it suffice
1 pointSwapping the belt at the same time may be a good idea while you're at it. Look at mileage, and cost of new belt.Depending on the aftermarket alternator it may require a relay hooked up to 12v power when key is in ignition (I think I worded that correctly. Basically it needs 12v when the vehicle is running, so it knows to turn on). My aftermarket alternator needed this, and I tested the circuits in the fusebox for power when the vehicle was on, and no power with vehicle off, than I spliced into one. Labor is going to vary largely from one vehicle to the next. I did everything in my jeep under two hours. The same job on my volvo takes almost twice as long if you've done it before.1 point

Mystery Package?
1 pointOh man, I am sorry to see that happened. This is an effect of an issue that has been since corrected at the factory. Thank you for being honest about the extra sub. I think you have a great idea, let's go with that.1 point

will it suffice
1 point2000watts / 14.4v = 139A @ 100% efficiency. Amps are not anywhere near 100%. Wiring lower than "1ohm" will increase this amperage draw. Generally stock alternators don't come with much headroom as it's not cost effective nor needed very often, so expect the majority of your alternator's output to be used by the car. So I would say no.1 point

CCA vs OFC is there really a big difference?
No, don't quit talking, ever. Just don't help perpetuate this myth. Car audio is full of this crap. This site is supposed to help people. When certain things are said (in error) all they do is keep the dumb people dumber. I have no doubt you understand this thread, just be careful with what you say as you will confuse the crap out of others.1 point

Fi build processes?
1 pointI dont work there, but.. Most companies have monthly reports that they base there production off of. Now you can break that down even more and say that their are companies that buy in bulk and keep supplies in house and there are companies that have supplies delivered weekly, monthy or by order.( I forget the marketing term) So usually based off of past monthly reports they know what to expect and keep a minimum of supplies as to not use up all of there monies on products not in the budget. And and on the topic of budget most companies have some type of yearly goal, broken down monthly. so for instance if i have 1000$ and know for sure that i will need 5 subs made that cost 400$, payroll is 200$, that leaves me with 400$ in the bank. It would make no since for me to make 2 more subs that i dont know for sure will sale that month and leaving the company broke. Rather since they build to order and you pay up, it keeps there production going. The problems arise when there are budget problem or orders spike that they didn't forsee. Kinda like in the winter parts store know to stock up on de-icer and scrapers, while in the summer they stock up on AC recharges, but battery sales may stay constant all yr long. I hope that made since i never really get a chance to use my business knowledge lol1 point

- best sq sub under $300
1 pointThe image dynamics sub is great, the only limitation being that it won't do 150db... I find it to be a very accurate and transient sub, that being said, I personally prefer more headroom for when I feel the need for bass. It will perform well, but if you love a lot of electronica, or heavy bass music, you might want more output. I know that they can perform, i've heard a fair share of Image Dynamics speakers, and to date they have been responsible for some of the most accurate sounding vehicles I have had the pleasure to listen to. That's probably a good idea. You might hurt yourself. When those type guns have a one to two mile range. They can't be used in a city. I do have weapons I can use to defend myself. I am a gun rights advocate! Please show me a pellet gun or bow and arrow with a two mile range. Or learn to make your arguments more clear and concise. J1 point- Thinking About Getting An AR-15? pmureika, even on your own property you cannot hunt invasive species with small caliber rounds in rural areas? That sounds dubious. I just read they opened up rifle areas for deer in southern Michigan. I don't know the details or if the law did pass, but it was JUST in the news.1 point- Thinking About Getting An AR-15? Advice?
What a bunch of horse shit. I carried an AR at a young age. Uncle Sam stuck one in my hand, with some proper training, they're a very enjoyable firearm. Ammunition is cheap, they're reliable, and parts are easily obtained. DPMS makes great entry level AR-15's. Definitely take the advice given regarding lurking around the forums, tons of good information on there. A firearm is nothing but a tool in the hands of a responsible adult. What type of firearm it is makes absolutely no difference in its function. It is a tool and should be respected.1 point- Thinking About Getting An AR-15? Advice?
You don't need amps or speakers and might hurt yourself and others. Probably don't know how to properly calibrate them to the highest level of standards either so you shouldn't get them. Come on man, don't be so rude to people. You wouldn't want to be talked to like that would you? I am just saying what is he going to use it for and does it need to be a ar-15. Smaller calibers can do the same job. An AR-15 is neither a high power rifle nor a large caliber rifle.1 point- Thinking About Getting An AR-15? Advice?

-1 points- Thinking About Getting An AR-15? Advice?
-1 pointsIrate-sleep:1 year ago ArmaLite AR-15 is a selective fire assault rifle with available calibrations of .223 or 5.56mm. In Michigan, it is legal to hunt deer in the rifle zone with any caliber of firearm except a .22 caliber or smaller rim fire. In the shotgun zone of Michigan, you can hunt deer only when using a conventional smokeless powder handgun that must be .35 caliber or larger.-1 points- Bass question?
-1 pointsHuh? You couldn't be any more wrong. Setting your gains with an oscilloscope is the only way to set your gains. Unless you want to push your amps into clipping, then by all means go ahead and turn that volume knob all the way up. But for those of us that want to set our gains correctly, an oscilloscope is the only way to do it correctly. Remember, you are matching the amp to your headunit. Once again, you are also wrong about distortion. Distortion will not be audible until your amp is putting out double of what it is capable of. That is also another reason why you would use an oscilloscope. The human ear is not enough to go off of to tell if the amp is clipping or not. This is not misinformation. This is the only way to set your gains so that you do not risk damaging your subs while getting the most out of your amps.-1 points - best sq sub under $300
