I see a few people round here using their Components. What about there subs? I got a qoute for there HD and HDD line... Just wondering what you all thought of them...as a company and performance. Anyone running their subs? Ther look like everyone elses(Sundown, Fi, Etc)

With my experience with the icon, my enclosure was 4.5 tuned to 32hz, my amplifier for that setup was an AQ1200, and it never felt stressed from that power, like I said, I think a 2k amp would be perfect, because you don't have to set the gain high, plus you will have headroom and will be easier on the electrical.I can agree with this.I'm at .5 ohms now,if I go full tilt its pretty hard on my electrical.but I don't do that very often.demo only.but it will start to cut in an out.This is not good at all. You might want to invest in your electrical instead of more equipment, and check your ground connection. This means your voltage is dropping down into the 11 volts range.

I got the nendo bc2000 powering two 12's now.I wasn't paying any mind when ordering the icons I got the dual 2's instead of 1's.its pretty hard on my electrical which is still stock for now,thinkin of chnging amps soonDon't switch amps, just buy another bc2000, run each sub to it's own amp and run at 1 ohm. That's what I would do for sure. For that much power, I would try to fit two d3100s. That should keep you in good shape.

not shady but, some people do enjoy them.. every one i know tried them and quickly moved on... hints why i never pulled that trigger i had my chance, but ill tell you this.. i had one question... how will it perform in a small encloser on low tuning.... and i was told in person " we dont know we have never tried it, it may play great it may not" lol shows me that they never even cared to model the subs .. or send them off to be correctly put thru the ropes ..... another air pump company.

Had my xs power for a little over a year now on my integra ls its a 5100r. So i would be driving and bumping and everything was fine but now in this past week ive started to notice my car slowly cranking over hesitating to start and now as i have the car running and bumping my lights are dimming this used to not happen. Those this mean my battery is going bad????

Do you own a Klippel? They don't either and quite frankly for 99.99999% of users it would be meaningless and create drama over something that isn't pertinent to the tasks at hand. This is a car audio driver where users regularly get confused and buy on one stupid meaningless parameter like Xmax or the words Pro Audio. I mean hell, people buy Skarbage so how much can they understand anything? Best part is the Klippel is a sloppy tool that designers working for real funded companies hardly even use. There are so many better methods of garnering data for design than the Klippel.

By the same token vehicle transfer fiction is going to change vehicle to vehicle so an arbitrary suggestion based on that unknown variable is going to be just as wrong as basing the enclosure on anechoic response alone.And the better solution to the TS problem is to publish both small and large signal parameters rather than none at all. Transfer function, right? Sorry, just making sure I'm not misreading

i went with the Bg neo 3's because 1. i wanted something different, 2 because i wanted something that had a smooth sound, 3. because i had already used a number of domes. the reason for the way they are installed is because they are very directional and i use the sundown neo pro 8s for no other reason then being team.
