Like all forums, traffic can come in waves. We have a large college member base, so I know a number of people are locked down working on finals at the moment or are busy with builds. Whereas others are finally starting to get above 50F days and some sun light past 6pm, so they might prefer the outside. It's great to see the posts in this topic. One thing Mark and I can see that most others don't really see, is the tremendous amount of traffic the site gets from people just here to read and learn. So our actual traffic levels are pretty much on par with other large forums, we just don't have gobs of OFF Topic sections or non-car audio focused stuff. If people would like me to add certain sections that they think would be popular and would open the site up more, I am all ears as always. The difference here, both from the forum side and the business side, is nothing is shady or hidden or deleted and no trigger happy ban buttons by the moderators.

I like all the forums honestly. There is knowledgeable people on all the forums you just have to filter through more stupidity at the other ones.

I'll take 20 quality threads over 200 threads of BS any day!! J

A buddy of mine in Houston is heading this project. I think it's pretty sweet and wanted to share. Paul came to me several months ago looking for a source for subs for this project. Yeah, not much really going on. We're a small crowd here, but, we all pretty much know each other, so it's kind of like a small long distant family haha.

Project for the wife, all cut out and sanded. TOnight grings stain and maybe a little black paint rubbed off.

I wired a pa horn in the cabin, under the dash to my factory alarm that made my truck undrivably loud, ear piercing with the alarm going off, with a run from each battery so popping the hood and cutting my ground wasn't effective.

The 21 days is rarely close to accurate. Plan on 45+ business days.... If you do this you will have more accurate expectations... In the off chance they beat it.. bonus! That being said they make awesome subs! I love my XCON. i would not think twice about ordering another but the 21+ bus day delivery is misleading.

The 21 business days average is accurate. We are not going to mislead people, we are not that kind of company. There are a couple of periods in the year that it will be longer, usually spring and Black Friday. This year's tax season/spring was FAR bigger than all previous years (dating back to 2006). So when the demand is so much higher than normal, the wait time can be a little longer than the average. But, when it is not during one of the peak periods, see Julians post, the lead time is normally under the 21 business days. Trust me, I don't like the lead time either, as I have to explain it many times via email, 7 days a week.

its worth the wait fellas. ordered march 21st. still waiting.. all good.. gives me a chance to get everything done exactly how I want it.
