  1. 1st issue is relying on a clamp test for anything. Don't waste your time, useless endeavor. 2nd issue was purchasing a CT Sounds product. Even if the amp is decent the owner is a giant douch and doesn't deserve any business nor support by people using his products. Sell it as Aaron suggested and invest in something else.
  2. I would suggest selling it while the novice perception of the amp being from a decent brand is there and you can get the most for it before you have to risk anymore customer service issues. Then find something used that does the power you want and comes from a great brand that does not have a questionable background, owner or drama around it. There are plenty of big DD amps, Sundown or B2 amps in the classifieds sections on forums.
  3. Isn't CT Sounds owned by that "CTHEDINGER" guy? I remember lots of questions about the validity of the ratings on his products and I'm not talking just the amps. IMHO its hard for me to believe that the majority of the amps on the market, especially the big Multi-Kilowatt well over 1,500/2,000 watt ones, can actually produce the specified ratings without being deep into clipping/distortion. It just doesn't seem like there's enough to them to me. Of course I also remember the good 'ol days when 1K amps were the size of surfboards.
  4. Really no such thing as breaking in a sub, yes the subwoofers soft parts loosen up over time. On some subs it takes longer then others. Play the sub within it's limits and enjoy my friend.
  5. Buy a quality amp!?
  6. Fill it with some black ca glue or some body filled and ppastidip it.
  7. All I want to know is if Apple builds a car, would that motherfucker have Windows installed?
  8. You'll want shorter power wires. Try relocating the amps so that you can keep grounds under 18" long. The shorter the better. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/62974-is-my-electrical-sufficient-and-powerground-question/ You don't need to make a duplicate thread asking the same question.
  9. try to keep power wires the same length and shorter than 5'...
