  1. Ton of new faces around here ... guess I should drop by more often.
  2. I would not listen to some members in this thread...As they have no experience with very few products except what they google.. Even though they may have thousand's of shit post Via 'searched' on the web' with no real experience "except what he or she said" I would love to see the products this looser has! not pointing any fingers but jay-cee you are a bitch! and only post on other people's experience..lol seriously? this post annoyed the shit out me. jay-cee is quite knowledgeable/helpful and you have no right to be insulting him in anyway.
  3. With that power, I vote a pair. You can always rebuild a different enclosure for the new car.
  4. A little surface rust and needs some cleaning and to be gone through, but the tolex and cabinet look like it has never been transported anywhere. At 1/3rd the price of a Marshall and every bit as groovy sound I am pumped.

  6. I think it turned out really good for something I drew up on the shop floor with sidewalk chalk.............. the amp rack will have to be worked on , the holes were drilled for the Soundstream amps
  7. Plan for about a month, the wait is worth a hand built product imo
  8. Thanks fellas, I appreciate it.
  9. I cant find too much info on these subs on memphis's website. Try emailing them and asking them what is the recommend area they suggest for your subs. Also ask them for T/S Specs or Parameters so somebody here can help model an enclosure for you and your goals. [email protected]
  10. Just the mids or mids and tweeters for $150
  11. Air velocity was more the factor than "cosmetics" and less port noise VIA "more port area" with the octagon ports.. Port area is what you said. Air velocity was more the factor than "cosmetics" and less port noise VIA "more port area" with the octagon ports.. Port area is what you said. Well maybe I should have said volume You know what I was getting at Smaller the volume faster air travels..Larger volume slower the velocity is what I was getting at. air speed is related to the cross sectional area not volume. No No read up... the distance has to be calculated as well "for example" for you total..If you would like I could snap you a pic of my degrees in this field. http://www.dwyer-inst.com/Products/AirVelocityIntroduction.cfm
  12. "For example" Moving air from "point a" 100ft to achieve the same CFM at "point b" at the end, You have to reduce the volume/area to keep your desired speed. larger volumes for longer distances loses speed And IMO would create less unwanted noise..
  13. The speed of air does effect unwanted noise....More port volume slower the speed so that does not mean less port noise?
  14. The speed of air does effect unwanted noise....More port volume slower the speed so that does not mean less port noise? think of it like using a larger gauge wire (more current), larger port area results in lower air velocity. That results in less unwanted noise.correct?

That results in less unwanted noise.correct? larger area -> lower port air velocity -> less air turbulence/chuffing Ok.. so are you agreeing with me or not..Lol
  16. Uh yes I am very aware of that..lol
  17. Uh yes I am very aware of that..lol cool, i was getting tired of correcting you. OMG.. ....
  18. Of saving 15% switching to Geico
  19. With a proper "big three" you can see little to no voltage drop on a factory alt for a little over 1000rms..I ran a cadence ia9 and ia4 with a factory alt for a bit with minimum voltage drop. although I never got to see it's full potential on that project,I never replaced the factory alt with a HO...Depending of course on the factory alt specs..And the equipment.. But I would always recommend a HO alt if all possible..
  20. Yes you usually change the thickness of the loading wall, height of the port or width of port just like any other enclosure to adjust the tuning. Yes this is correct genius...And quit neggin all my post your just making yourself look like a little bitch!!

Do you specifically know JayCee is doing it? Nobody pays attention to reputation points and even spam accounts can click the negative buttons.
