  1. On the plus side, I got to watch Ivy whoop ass in tennis yesterday!
  2. The wait time for me was longer than normal because of the tax season when i ordered. Damn near drove me crazy waiting and i thought aboit cancelling my order several times. I'm really glad i didn't. Hands down the zcon is the best subwoofer I've ever owned. I wouldn't think twice about waiting for one now if i wanted one. Like mentioned above work on your box and your build while you wait. You won't regret it.
  3. Jay-cee covered a ton of info for me. The lead time is the machining, assembly, packing, and shipping. These guys are made to order and due to steady demand and low margins, the build house has no choice but to run at a made-to-order set up as it is not feasible to get ahead of demand and build up large quantities for standing inventory.
  4. I doubt the shipping would be any different from ordering from another company. Plus they are in Nevada instead of the opposite coast from you. Patient or not it's worth it but if you are in impatient person it may make you tense at times but dont let that stop you from getting what you want. You're not waiting on the shipping, you are waiting on the build time, once its built it will ship out normally. Hope this helps.
  5. Don't use 2x4s, It is always a bad idea to mix lumber and MDF, they expand and contract at different rates and like to ruin joints... Just use the MDF you have left over...
  6. Here is a link to them http://www.nittotire.com/passenger-tires/motivo-all-season-ultra-high-performance-tire/
  7. Partly why I love audio is because it requires patience and practice to attain a good result, rushing is useless. I'm a very impatient, anxious, haphazard person by nature. For the first time I'm taking my time with a project, and I'm not mad lol. It's worth the days or weeks extra, the final result is much, much longer lasting.
  8. It states clearly on this page if there is any wait time. No backlogs as the subs are built once ordered, they dont have any sitting around. http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/products/zcon-15-sound-solutions-audio-15-2250w-zcon-series-subwoofer.html
  9. Wait time varies really, seen some people get their subs in a quick time frame and others had to wait. Tax season still going on so it may take a little longer, no way to give a definite answer.
  10. Why? just "cuz" ? seems a wicked short cut to thinking.. just me. He has his "lil name" on one of the baddest drivers made........ maybe its you ??? A better question is why would you not? The guy is a complete piece of shit. His sole goal is to chase $$$ no matter how he gets it. He'll step on noobs, sell them useless pieces of crap and do whatever to make money. He even goes so far to embrace other crooks in the realm of car audio for his own profit. As for the driver, I am sure that has nothing to do with Godsmack's comment. That all being said, the buildhouse can control quality but can't stop an idiot from creating a dubious design that makes no fucking sense. Kevin from Skarbage proved this and was deceitful about it to the car audio forum world as well. He seems to have found a compadre in Steve which makes sense considering they both have the propensity to only care about themselves and are okay to gain business with non-ethical practices. ANY company that behaves like that should be shunned by everyone. Misinformation, lies and hiding of truthful information is not ever acceptable in any business. I know I for one have nothing but hope that businesses that operate that way fail miserably. It's downright criminal behavior.
  11. A 110lb sub will give you a hernia? That's cute.
  12. That is SG2 technology aka Super Gauss 2 that Scott was using for other applications and once that contract was done he brought it to the car audio world. Here is a link to the original thread of the SG1 introduction. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/30951-introducing-supergauss/ Hope this helps
  13. I wouldn't be so quick to say that no design is put into them, you have to remember Fi designs and builds these.
