  1. The SAZ-1000D will do the trick also, its is just known that BL's can take some abuse. For headroom and the ability to crank it if you want to plus if you plan on upgrading in the future then you can go SAZ-1500D but if not the SAZ-1000D will work fine also.
  2. Actually in my attic. I just recently cleared out about 11-12 of my subs I had up there as well. My pride and joy though is Fosgate amp collection. I have the entire line of Punch amps from the tiny Punch 30 up to the Power 1000 including one of the Bipolar Power 360's (about 5-6 are known to still exist). A few of them I have a couple of (like 4 Punch 150's) I also have a pair of Punch amps from around 1980-1981 (Punch 40 and Punch 100 with slider EQ's) and the complete line of 25 to life limited edition Fosgate amps and some of those I have more than one of as well. Forgot to add, I also have a Pair of the Fosgate Pro Series from that time frame as well. One of them had a sagging spider and the basket was slightly bent so I am presently rebuilding it into a 4 spoke basket to make a one of a kind SPP-104. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=32677 You should be a Fosgate anitque dealer
  3. The deal ends on my birthday, if I get some spare cash on Birthday I may buy a second SAZ-2000D.
  4. Its that your setup now?
  5. You wouldnt really miss out on anything by going with the the SAE-1200 v.2 over the SAZ-1500D, but do it like this if you have the extra cooling and fully loaded then go for the SAZ-1500D and if you dont then get the SAE-1200 but redardless you wont hear the difference. Just my .02
  6. US Amps is a reputable company so I dont see why not, I know US Amps had great amps in the past but havent dealt with anything lately. The best thing to do is just get the amp and give a review on it.
  7. Another saved car audio soul
  8. Most of the batteries you need are going to be 13" long and about 9" tall and 7" wide give or take so if you dont have size for that then you should invest in a HO Alt and then get a nice compact secondary battery with fewer AH.
  9. I would say a nice group 31 battery with the Big 3 done, get a volt meter to watch voltage if problems then HO Alternator time.
  10. Basically they are made in different warehouses with different parts, SAE is entry line but still a beast (the more affordable) while the SAZ is the beast of the line-up: Read this topic and see how Jacob explains the small difference between the two lines.
  11. FAIL! and why so many ? marks.
  12. The main thing that Sundown has over Audioque is the fact that Sundown rates it's amps at 12 volts while Audioque rating is 14 volts.
  13. There is no square when doing boxes its cubes, so go out in the truck and measure your max dimensions you have for an enclosure (height x width x depth); then give us the numbers.
  14. You could have it from 1.75ft^3 to 3.25ft^3 @ 35Hz if you want it loud like you do now.
  15. Big 3 Wiring: Alternator Positive-------------Battery Positive (you can put a fuse less than 12 inches after alternator if you want to but dont have to). Alternator Bolt or Engine Block--------------------Car's Frame Battery Negative----------------------------Car's Frame Battery 1 to Battery 2: Bat 1 Positive-----(fuse within 12 inches)-----------------------------------(fuse within 12 inches)----Bat 2 Positive Battery 2 Negative-----------------------Car's Frame Amp Hook-up: Battery 2 Positive-----(fuse within 12 inches)------------------Distribution Block (if more than one amp, dont have to use one can just wire each amp individuallly to battery)------------------Amps Positive Terminal *Some big amps dont have an onboard fusing so you can put one within 8 inches before the Amp's positive terminal. Amp's Negative Terminal----------------Battery Negative Terminal I personally wouldnt use one of those amps, what is your budget for an amplifier?

Probably the SAX-50.4 also, cant beat it and its on sale right now.
  17. When I meant specs I meant the recommended size that they want there sub in, not the specs that are on the manual that tell you to build your box to these dimensions.
  18. Oh yeah I would use .5" mdf in your case and it will be fine.
  19. Check out fiberglass forums.com or look at some build logs (there are a couple of people on here who show a kinda step by step process on how they did there fiberglass if interested). I never done it before but the process doesnt look to difficult after researching it, I think I will have trouble mixing and wanting things to look perfect.
  20. That would be a great idea as I have some available for him. Are those speakers in the rear deck that I see, it looks like two different little speaker combos next to each other between the factory speakers? yeah it is, i have not even attempted to look at them yet, there are those, as well as a pair of 6" x 9" 's in the rear deck, and a pair in the rear seat, and two different front door speakers..... if i had to guess it will be a few more days yet, i am thinking the weekend. What do you mean by he has a pair in the rear seat, actually cut out the seat and placed some in there. If so somebody stole my idea, I did that about three years ago to my car and another car for kicks but wont do it again.
