June 17, 201114 yr Wow, that's an ambitious setup for someone who's new to the hobby. With a 1k budget seems that there's not much out of your reach if you're willing to buy used. Sundown 4500 comes to mind first, the new Crescendo's as Stealth mentioned would do well, the owners of the site like the MTX 4k, AudioQue has some decent amps from what I've seen and then there's quite a few people who are liking the Audiopipe AP series amps such as the AP3000. There's so many high powered competition proven amps out there, it's hard for me to come up with a more specific list to help anymore than this, lol.To me you're really just going to have to pick one, lol. I can't imagine having the budget to build a system like the one you're on the way to.

June 22, 201114 yr Keep in mind that he has 2 D2 subs so he has to wire to 2 ohm or .5 ohm which will not be anyones recommendation. So the amp has to supply the power he wants (which the OP did not state) at 2 ohm.New question: How much power do you want to have? You can push a BTL with 500 watts or 20,000 watts.
June 22, 201114 yr I was waiting for someone to realize he needed power at 2 ohms. I think your best bet would be to run 2 1500-2500w amps strapped or maybe something like a used Stetsom 5k.
June 22, 201114 yr If you need power at 2 ohms, then its hard to beat the Audiopipe 3k for $350, there only 2 ohm stable in mono, so get 2 of them for around $700.
