September 20, 201212 yr Author Instead of getting an off the shelf woofer, David @ Psi made these ones. They look awesome, and his service was top notch. Emailed him at 12:30 am last friday and he replied within 15 minutes!

September 21, 201212 yr Author Why is the spacer ring on this sub lifted up, shouldnt it be attached or is it the pictures? Its the pics, had somebody else ask too, the subs are fine and hopefully will be destroying my truck tomorrow . Edited September 21, 201212 yr by reelfish92
September 22, 201212 yr Author New subs, amp and headunit. Didn't tune the amp, and its a lot louder. Psi ftw. This is a cell phone video by the way.
September 22, 201212 yr Author I need to do some tuning to get it right as this was just drop in without a dmm or a dd1 lol, and also seal some places where wires are ran. But its a lot louder, loudest 12s on 2k I've ever heard. Edited September 22, 201212 yr by reelfish92
September 22, 201212 yr That box is an amazing install. Also, I wouldn't use a dmm or dd1 for tuning the gains.
September 22, 201212 yr Author That box is an amazing install. Also, I wouldn't use a dmm or dd1 for tuning the gains.Could you pass some knowledge on? Or should I just look for the thread on setting gains. Do you use an o-scope?

Do you use an o-scope?Its something that seems to been beat to death If you try to find a thread on said topic, you will see about 26 of them in the past 2 months lolI would suggest just pick a familiar song, that has the same level as the majority of the songs that you play. And adjust by ear.

October 1, 201212 yr so, i've been creeping on your install since day one. i really envy you for the truck. i've always loved the xtremes and have had my eye on a few locally just to build a nice daily truck setup like what you have. Great work man, i can't wait to see what else you do
