February 5, 201312 yr I'm surprised no one's posted these parts express beauties:Or it's heavy weight brother:Keep calm and carry on. I am surprised no one mentioned either earlier. I'd like to get my hands on either, but the Pro5100 has such high efficiency. Imagine the possibilities. I'm willing to bet nothing mention in this thread comes close in terms off efficiency. I didn't do my homework though so don't tear me apart if I'm Wrong. Edited February 5, 201312 yr by todd.brust
February 6, 201312 yr I have not had an issue with the coil rocking on ny evils, but why does all other brands use a spider spacer? Alot depends on the excursion. A 3" coil on these baskets will effectively have more throw than a 4" coil, pending the surround. Cone depth too.
February 6, 201312 yr A new one for "Todays" list. :D/> Nice! I have been watching the forums to see info on those Fi Audio "team" woofers. The motors look huge and the radius on the bumped back plate has me curious what is going on in there.
February 6, 201312 yr Nice! I have been watching the forums to see info on those Fi Audio "team" woofers. The motors look huge and the radius on the bumped back plate has me curious what is going on in there. With a little visual scaling I'm guessing the slugs are about 10" in diameter. Noice! As for that fat radius on the bumped back plate, it just means someone is finally exploiting the capabilities of a CNC lathe.
