Yeah it took it for a decent amount of time, especially for having 110 to each coil

Just curious why you did it to a sub that had two good coils? Just wanted a recone?

Actually the motor was being sold as just that, just a motor.  So Figured I'd have a little fun with it before it was shipped off. Plus easier to ship with just the motor and not basket anyways

Theres another video on my youtube channel of me doing some testing with it when I first got it... Ended up getting a 148 sealed on music with a single 12

Not sure what the subs are getting built into now, with the right parts they will be undestructable though. That 4" coil that was in it took some abuse

12100W on each coil fyi

12100W on each coil fyi

Not even close. Even if the outlet was on a 20 amps breaker it's only getting 2,200 watts.

110volts at ~60 hertz times 20amps = 2400 watts.

Anymore and the breaker would have thrown.

When I had the coils wired as one, it continuously popped the 30 amp breaker. I just stood by the box and kept resetting it for about 5 minutes. After that I said F it and wired up each coil to a seperate 30amp breaker

Post a link to the video. Was this in a shop or warehouse? I can view it on mobile.
