Not a build log, but my list of equipment is here on my first video of this set-up. Enjoy!

Looks like it'd be loud!

Nice :3

Its alright for a daily driver, but I want louder now that I've been going to some shows. My girl is gonna kill me =[

Lol we always want louder! Do you have any pics or vids of the sub?

  • Author

no videos, but the sub is pretty much reaching its mechanical limits.  I blew the dust cap off when I had it in a large enclosure I had built for the zcon, so I put a full face RE XXX DC on it.

Didn't the dustcap come off a few times? I bet it would sound better if the license plate wasn't rattling :)

it did.  Gonna try to drill it down with a shop towel underneath.  I have to improve the sound from the trunk to get gains as well.

and another.  Going to work on getting gains by plugging 6x9 holes and such...

Why not remove those 6x9 boxes behind the enclosure? If speakers are needed that bad in the rear then try the rear doors. I would just scrap the rear speakers all together and improve your fronts. Looks like it gets down fing34.gif

Its a build in progress. I will scrap the 6x9s when I need more space for woofers and make some pods for my front doors. Money is going elsewhere right now so I may not get to it til late summer early fall.
