Not anymore, amp was ordered last night and should be here Monday. Also plan to meet with my box builder who built my box for my two Sundown 12s last year and the box for my Icon thats profile picture. I might be going back to two 12s but we will see. Might need to work on more electrical after this new amp so that will determine my next step.

GCON will kick ass ported. Demons favor small sealed. I have been fortunate to have owned both.

Demon 10" Enclosure Engineering Design Review

The only driver I could personally recommend would be the Gcon. There are hundreds on the market, but I like to stick with SSA. -
IT's a toss up.

Curious what you guys think on this. This is a Google Maps view of the lights at the intersection. This is the exact view you get going through the light. Note how the lights are point off to the side. I'm wondering if this is an up-to-code setup (it's temporary for the construction).

Fun to see a little action on here! I got in a wreck last month. Ran a light under a highway and got T-boned by a sedan. The initial estimate to fix my truck is a couple of thousand away from totaling it. I REALLY hope they do. The wife and I are talking about selling her car and getting something like a used Lincon Navigator to use as the big family vehicle and tow pig. I would find something cheap (preferably with a stick shift) to use around town. I don't drive much anymore with my work-from-home job, so we can go down to one vehicle pretty easily. Also, have my dad's Bronco sport available to drive almost any time.

In that case, could you recommend a better choice for a 10" that will like a vented enclosure? I will give plugging the vent a shot but I'm really after the low, 20-35hz lows

I miss the old ways of posting pictures where you can put a caption above the pictures to explain then. If you look at each picture, I have a different set of channels highlighted under the OutPut Section in the middle. Each set of channels is named to the corresponding speakers it controls. Under that section you will see crossover points. These DSPs are easy to use once you get your hands on one, I felt lost when I first played with one but with the help of Google it wasnt that hard.

Demon 10" Enclosure Engineering Design Review
Tirefryr replied to toml's topic in Advanced Discussion
I personally wouldn't run the Demons vented. SO many better choices for that. I would plug the vent and see how you like it and go from there. I suspect your tuning is a bit higher than you've calculated as well and/or you're experiencing some cancellation issues. - Earlier

Hi everyone, new guy here. I'm a mechanical engineering student/intern at the moment and have had a passion in audio for nearly a decade now. I took it upon myself to design an enclosure for a pair of Demon 10"s for my civic hatch. I'm pretty happy with the punchiness, but the lower end is lacking pretty significantly and sounds "blown out" or "not really there" instead of "deep". I'm hoping to get some insight on where I went wrong with my design. As you can see, this is a non-traditional enclosure where the port effectively shares 4 walls with the enclosure on the outer sides. The design was done this way to maintain a specific outer dimension that fits like a glove in my hatch. Another issue I did come across was the subs not being particularly well suited to being in a ported enclosure in the first place, as the result of dividing the Fs/Qes yielded a value near 43.5. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, as I'm thinking of changing the enclosure to get better performance: I have a feeling I'm not getting as much out of these Demons as I could be. Also, I designed this about a year ago, so I'm not sure what I did/used, but I can't seem to find a solid answer for the desired port area or volume for these subs...

The shop sent me out the door with the wiring management looking sub par and a too small fuse on the alternator (200a fuse for a 250ho alternator). I bought some ceramic fuses for my under hood distribution block and fixed the wire management because it was an eye sore even though the hood is closed 99.9% of the time

Insane for real and it still needs to be tuned and set up, just got done detailing the whole interior of the car. Sweated my ass off in this 95 degree plus night. Some pictures from earlier before I detailed her. When I get time and it dialed in, I'll post some videos of the front stage. I'm already planning on upgrading the subwoofer amp and maybe go to two beastly 12s. Need to meet up with my box builder and talk numbers. But the sub decision might not be till next year though. Stay tuned

The parts are easy to find as well. Used in high end office situations where people sit for a lot of hours. Even the janky one is better than almost every other chair I’ve used.

Those look pretty well made. I'll have to check one of those out!! J

https://www.steelcase.com/products/office-chairs/leap/ I have an older version. I found them at a place that sells office 2nd hand office furniture. I got a GREAT deal. I was able to get a tall piston for one of them to accommodate my architect desk. You will find these office furniture resellers in almost every city. Check local and find something dope. The place I went hires people who are rehabilitating. Felt good supporting them. HumanScale chairs are pretty fantastic as well last time I checked. Herman Miller makes one that’s really amazing if your not a giant. It’s a step up from the aeron. I feel the Aeron is a bit over rated.

I like the top of the line from steelcase. They held up for me.
