25 inch sub anyone?

That is neat but I would have no use for it. I remember back in the day there was a company called Tekton that put out a 21 inch sub. never saw one other than a magazine but they listed it.

that sux the bigger the are the less x-max it seems

1. That makes the assumption that Xmax really matters by itself, which it doesn't...

2. Think about swept area - 14mm of linear travel on a 15" is a heck of a lot different than 14mm of travel on a 25" cone :D

I had a pair of Electrovoice Patricians with their 30W woofers. They had very minimal X-max but they still moved enough air to crack a window in my house. Of course, one was facing the window about 18 inches away :D

that was audiobahn. n this sub only has 14 mm linear x-mac. that sux the bigger the are the less x-max it seems

Clarion had one also . Both were big arse flimsy pos's that were meant for marketing purposes mainly :)
