Don't concern yourself with box rise for a daily application. Wire it to a 1 ohm load and you are set.

push a DD 9500 series, so im not going to use but 2500 or so watts, i was just wondering. Mostly bragging rights to say 3000+ on tap :D

Tell those people concerned with "bragging rights" that you won't see any advantage of those 500W except on a TL ;)

How well would the amp do if i ran it at .5 ohm? For daily ill run it at 1 ohm but i just ordered another 15, and will be using both on one amp at comps for a while.

Seems like I get this question every day *laughs*

Literally 100s of people run them at 1/2 ohm daily and/or for competition without problems.

But, as stated in the warranty text it is not covered when ran outside of listed specifications, but repairs / replacements are still very affordable with our warranty (especially if the amp is in good shape):

http://www.sundownaudio.com/warranty.html

1) If your amplifier has a blown power supply or damage from excessive vibration there will be a charge for a warranty replacement within the 2-year policy:

* SAZ-1500D and smaller amplifiers (or any future model under 2000 watts) - $30 in the continental USA (AK and HI add $15)

* SAZ-2000D and SAZ-3000D (or any future model 2000 - 3000 watts) - $50 in the continental USA (AK and HI add $20)

2) If there is no obvious sign of either of the above the warranty replacement within the 2-year policy will remain a free replacement.

3) For either free replacement or flat-rate charge replacement the amplifier must be in at least "fair" condition. Amplifiers with excessive wear and tear and/or physical damage, as deemed by the sole discretion of Sundown Audio, will fall under the following stipulations:

* Blown power supply or excessive vibration damage will be fixed by db-R Electronics and customer will be charged for actual repair and shipping costs.

* Amplifiers that qualify for free replacement but are in less than "fair" condition will be repaired by db-R Electronics at no cost to the customer.

4) For any of the above it is assumed that the customer has shipped the amplifier back to Sundown Audio properly packaged and it has been received without physical damage from shipping. As stated in the current warranty text, "In the event of shipping damage due to improper packaging of the return the customer is liable for the cost of all damages, necessary repairs, or replacement."

5) After the 2-year policy has expired the 5-year discounted replacement policy will be in effect for 3 more years. The cost of the discounted replacement will vary on a pro-rated scale based on the physical condition of your returned amplifier. This will be handled on an individual basis - replacement cost will start at around 1/2 of MSRP cost for units with excessive wear and tear and/or physical damage and decrease for units in excellent condition. As stated in the current warranty text, "This offer applies ONLY to the original purchaser of the unit and is not transferable like the 2 year limited warranty."
