would 300 watts (the back half of a PDX 4.150) be enough to run one of these ?

A little more info would be helpful. ie box type, listening style, expectations. I could tell you that I have ~300W going to a pair most of the time, in a sealed box and I am satisfied.

It would work fine. You should never have to worry about blowing it that way.

but if you want the most, give it at least 700rms, subs always sound much better when power more than the standard rms rating. like my lethal injection, its 600rms, giving it 750rms and its taking it like a professional porn star on amaeture night lol

it's taking it like a professional porn star on amaeture night lol

TMI dude ..... :wacky:

Either sealed or IB in an '01 Accord Coupe (2 dr). This is an SQ only setup, so it will only being playing up to 40 Hz or so. How well does the bass come thru from the trunk, because I have no pass thru between seats.

As said above, you will be fine. And down the road if you want to you can always put more power to it if you feel the need. :)

ok, cool. I know I can replace the PDX 2.150 with a 4.150 pretty easily without really changing anything. I don't want to add lots more power because the car is pretty much stock and trouble free. Adding lots more power = bigger batteries, bigger alternator, bigger power wire ...... too much for the daily driver.

Yes, any sub can take more power, if you know what your doing. Yes it will sound good with the power he is going to have, but to get the most, he needs more power. All though if he likes the way it sounds with the current power, then he is set. But trust me, i know enough! I may have little posts, but i know my shit!
