Need an enclosure built for 2 SA-12's

Recommended Posts

I just basically am looking for a badass enclosure at a decent price.

If you could let me know how much it would be for a 3.6 cuft box with maybe some aero ports, flush mount and carpeted that would be great.

Oh and I'll do a review on the box when I get it :)

Ok if I could get your max dimensions that would be swell :)

And would you like double baffle?

Thanks so much, Andrew

Current design I have

L - 32.25 Inches

D - 21 Inches

H - 15 Inches

3.6 Cubes net tuned to 30 Hz via (1) 6 Inch aero port.

Double Baffle, Flush Mount, and both sides indented .75 inch.

Corner bracing in all 4 corners.

Let me know how that sounds.

Sounds good but if you could add more length and shorten the width that would be great. Like 19" width and whatever length would still make it 3.6 cubes.. Lol sorry if that was confusing.

L - 35.75

D - 19.00

H - 15.00

Here are the revised dimensions with the depth only being 19 inches.

Hey Rodney, I dont wanna jack your thread but im looking into getting 2 sa-12's myself.

I was wondering how much power your gonna feed them? I know there rated at 600watts rms but everyone says thats underrated.

What you gonna run?

Andrew, perfect. Quote? I can send payment Friday :)

Stefan, I actually have them in a shitty prefab sealed box with an SAE-1200d and really that's all the power they need to get loud. Unless you plan on competeing all you need is to give them rated.

With the Length at 35.75 will be be enough room in your trunk on the side for the port to breath?

$230, and that includes shipping.

How much of a difference does aeroports make? If it's ok with you I can just wait till my other check in two weeks and I'll have enough for it.

I dont think there is that much of a difference if your not competing, plus it just makes it easier if you dont have enough room for a slot port. Not worth the extra money in my opinion.

Jay is correct your going to be more than happy with a regular slot ported box. If thats what you want I can get it to you for $200 shipped.
