Ported box fr mj-18

What sized ported box do you recommend for the mj-18? I want to use 4 of them. I have an Astro so I have plenty of room. Thanks.

I would lean towards a minimum of 4.5 per. I have not had ported time on mine yet, but just going based on what a few others have said. But Mark would be the final word on it.

Sounds interesting. For four units you can go with 18 cubic feet with some light stuffing (R12 fibreglass for example) and tune to 28Hz. If you need to go smaller, you can trim down to 16 cubes and use thick (R20) stuffing around all walls and back of enclosure.

Either way, it should get things moving quite well.

It's a number corresponding to the density of the insulation. R20 is a higher density insulation.

you just get it at your local plywood store...they come in big bags...its just pink or yellow insulation...nothing exciting

Yea, you can pick it up at pretty much any hardware store.

Same stuff that's in your walls.

Just fiberglass insulation.

I live in Canada. I don't know where you live. But you could just try looking it up man.

Kinda depends how much you need, where you buy it from, etc.
