Starting a build log of a friends escalade we are doing a build in. Currently he is running 2 sp4 18s on an ampere 9k enclosure tuned around 26-27 . Highest on the meter was is a 150.9 sealed on the dash at 35 . Goal for the new build is a 153 and still tuning close to the same as he is now. He doesnt really care about the numbers though . Mainly the lows . His shit now hits pretty hard down to like 15hz lol and pretty well up into the 50s so we are going to try to make it as musical is possible with what we got to work with . Going to be 4 sp4 18s Amp he is still thinking about . Was thinking either another 9k or a taramps 20k or maybe something else Has…

I’m try to install a system in an old Saab 900. Im currently adding active crossovers and EQ sound processors. Still learning to get a nice setting that’s clean but not thin. Finding how to EQ the sub channel. Any advice? I post a picture or two if I can

Hey guys manzkea back at it again! Lol. Finally got some equipment in. Excited to finally get this project I’ve had in mind for a while rolling . Gonna attempt a blow through in my single cab 2001 ford ranger long bed. Gonna make pods for the doors to house the 6.5s and replace the stock one with a 6.5 or if possible an 8” driver. All powered off the ssa ic150.4. As for subs I’ll be using a 15” sp4 v2 I got from a friend for a deal. A taramps 5k will be used to push it. Unfortunately the evil mids I wanted was unavailable in 4ohms. So I went with these prvs. Well I’ll I’ll be updating this as I get it going. Possibly next week or so, really busy with wor…

So after 4 months of waiting I finally revived these baby's. It's such a relief and a long wait coming lol. Can't wait to pick up a taramps 8k to push these. And build my box also. These things are super heavy and beffy and beautiful. Really stiff. unfortunately i didnt didn't receive my tshirt or any stickers for that matter that's a bummer I was looking forward to that sick black shirt. And I took out the wooden things that help keep the sub protected during shipping.

Well, The Fi came in, so it's time to start a build log. Will continue with pictures of the enclosure as it progresses (might not be for another week or two with Christmas parties and stuff coming up). Rundown of what the system will consist of: Fi Alpha V2 15 D4, BP plug, Carbon dust cap Alpine MRX-M100 running at 2 ohms Factory radio with a Scosche LOC Ported box with viewing window, SPL dust, and custom fabrication like you've never seen.

This build is in a 2006 Nissan Xterra. I am currently upgrading a few things, so figured I start a build log. The equipment list at this point. Hi everyone ! I own a brand new MAzda CX-5 2.2 l Diesel. It's my first SUV, I've never had so much room in the cargo area ! I'm still waiting on a dash kit and an adaptor for the head unit. I sold a lot of things from my ex car, the Toyota : rca's, power and ground (cca) wires, box, a Kinetic 1200, a DD 9515 ;-) and more....It gave me some serious cash to buy a few items. Here what I have so far : head unit : Pioneer X5600BT I need a double DIN unit to keep the screen for the parking radar (how do you call that ?)
