  1. Test fit on the tweets. I have to say these things are stout! Very well designed & assembled. I am very impressed by the build quality on these tweets.
  2. Have to still add some filler for the imperfections before painting.
  3. Doing some custom tweeter pods for evil tweets for a guy that I work with. Evil 6.5's in the doors and evil tweets in the sail panels. Here's the before pics.
  4. Had a blast. Was hot as shit, and errrryone got burnt to shit,... but, fun was had by all. Burb ran better than it ever has in every way. Did all events (Psyclone, DB drag (meh) and bass race 599) First in all. Scores where hurt bad on our 30s runs by the hole, but, it did a new high on the burp (meh) , even a few clicks down, ... we couldnt be happier with how its running. On our 30s runs, the engine ran great set at 2k rev....and didnt sound like it was gonna toss a rod out the block at the end. Couldnt be happier with how its all performing, such a good feeling after all the work. Thanks for the look, hope to meet/see some of you in the lanes some day. My favorite thing about it all. Get out, be safe, and just have a damn good time. Enjoy
  5. Everyone I show your vids to says the same thing......... "Holly Duck!"
  6. Thanks guys for the compliments!
  7. I've heard a pair of 18" Zv4 and I did not like that setup. I don't know if the box what good for them, but 2 SP4s in the same box and it was a night and day difference. The Fi were much more musical than the Sundown (only the lows would hit right). That is just one experience, so I can't really judge the Sundown subs. I can only talk about the Fi subs, as I have more experience with them.
  8. Thanks!!! Here is a few more.
  9. I only wear safety glasses (for work and leisure). The really nice ones can be found at just about any welding supply shop.
  10. Nice work! I enjoy my evil tweeters
  11. Thanks for the support fellas... Alas no work really done yet. laziness, overworked, and other BS in the way. Only thing I've done is add CLD sheets all over the hatch area. Need to get some thin liners between the panels. The interiors of these new Mazdas is no joke. Such intricate installation went into these cars. I have some many pieces just for the hatch door its discouraging to go further. lmao I'll start on the wiring soon at least to get the 0awg wiring from engine to hatch, kinda want to go outside underneath with a path made of PVC and plasti-dipped for some weatherproofing/durability
  12. 3m Super 77 works well. If it's really being finicky try 3m 08008, shit is insane.
  13. Yeah I always wanted to try a X series sub or Zv4\5 series from Sundown but that explanation made me weary. But they are releasing the U series which goes back to the older platform style of sound. A higher model than the SA series, basically the Zv.3 replacement.
  14. Nice work on the sails !!!
  15. Tuned in for sure, pods coming along
  16. Glad to see you had fun broha.
  17. It's all good. I'm busy ATM too. I purchased the car for 21.5 and sold it for 24. Can't really complain.
  18. Hey aaron..... see any cool BOINC numbers lately??
