d2 12 right for me??

Hi guys, i have been doing a lot of reading, and i have heard nothing but good things about the magnum... ok so here's my delima. I have a 92 toyota pickup, and im not cutting a hole in my truck bed. Since i cannot physically see the sub, i thought i would ask for help. Im gonna build a custom box, for behind my seat... i think i can get the box at around 1cf and still be able to fit my amp. Ok so heres my question... Is that gonna cut it. i mean would i be better off looking for something more shallow, or would that be enough for the sub... i noticed the mounting depth was like 6.75 or so right... have you guys ever seen your sub used in a wedge box. Thanks for your help guys.. like i said i've read nothing but good things about your subs... and im really hoping i can make it work.
