Box Build for MikeMartin

Recommended Posts

This is a 3.0 @ 32 hz enclosure for a single 15" Fi BL. Crx style, with a double baffle. The box will be left bare. All that is left to do, is sand it up, and the badge and terminals, and then get it ready for ship.

Thanks Mike. It will be going out Tuesday for you.

The technique sure makes it very easy to carpet.

Hey B.J.

We are not going to carpet this bad boy. Im wanting to paint it black. Do you have a reccomended black paint? name and type,,,

I want it to look smooth so I may take some wood filler and go over the screws, sand it at those points and then roll or spray it black.

Thanks ,

Mike

I have rolled on some textured paint before, it looked very cool. Got it from Wal-Mart, but I dont recall the name of it or anything. Ill see if I can find it for you though.

Yea for my build I used spray paint but it was a black stone textured paint. It looks badass.

Thanks guys,

I will check out what Autozone, Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot have.

B.J. ,

If you get a couple finished shots once the terminals are installed I would sure like to see em. If not then no biggie.

I am excited about getting this thing in my Sons car. Heck, you would think its going to be mine...lol
