Sundown: SAZ-1500D vs. SAE-1000D

I'm probably gonna sound really dumb but heres the question

would there be a huge difference on one SS rl-p 12" D2 using those amps.

i mean theres a 200watt diff. between them two, would those 200wats have a huge impact on that sub?

No, and just because you have that extra power, doesn't mean you need to use it

If you can afford it, I'd probably go with the 1500D, little bit beefier, and would give you some options if you ever want to upgrade.

well that sub's rated at 1000rms so i mean 800rms at 2ohm with the 1500d would probably be plenty but if there's not too much of a difference i don't see the need to waste money unless for the upgrading part as you said.

You can't wire to 2 ohms with a single DVC2 ohm subwoofer. 1 ohm and 4 ohms are your only options.

and the 1200 watt was putting out 1500 watts in testing... so what do you think the 1500 watt was doing?

The 1000D would do nicely on a single SS RLP-D2

An awesome deal right now is the SAE-1200D -- they are on intro sale for $350 at an authorized dealer (SSA Included) and will give you lots of overhead and room to grow later if you upgrade subs
