take a look at the nightshades.

X2, John had Fi BL 15's off a Sundown SAZ-3000D and did a direct swap with Nightshade 15's and they are louder.

I'm running 18s not 15s

Yes, I know you are. 18's are very possible with such a badass owner ;)

What kind of port area is there for each section of the box?

I'd say go with BL's fully loaded. Give about 1500 watts or so daily... It'd slam.

This box is supposed to be 5cf per chamber before port displacment.

The ports in each section is 7x7 wide and 21" Long. the ports were at 31" long.

I'm not sure what this box is tuned at or what airspace is left before driver displacement.

I don't know crap about building enclosures. a local shop build it.

I would want at least 80 sqin per 18. 16 sqin per cuft of enclosure if it is over 5 ft^3. . .

16 square inches per cubic foot.

Let's say for example that i want a box built at 5cf net. volume

with 16 square inches per cube tuned@33hz. How wide should the port be and how long, btw

what is the gross volume before port displacement?
