sundownz 197 Posted May 28, 2009 Burps only - and only then if you have a known box rise at the frequency you are using.
jfin1204 2 Posted May 28, 2009 sorry i had answered then edited it, i dont know remember why. but, it will be for daily[ usage two 15" nightshade 6-8cuft tuned from any where between 30-40hz. it was almost one when i made the post i was tired sorry didn't answer correct.

jfin1204 2 Posted May 28, 2009 i guess my main question is should i purchase 2 dual 1 ohm nightshade and run them at 1 ohm or should i get 2 dual two ohm and run them at 0.5 ohm. i would like the lowest resistance possible for a daily driver and box would be tuned around the same number above.

jfin1204 2 Posted May 28, 2009 so @0.5 with a box rise in resistance, which will bring the ohms up, it is okay to do that in a daily. or should i just keep it @ one ohm to be safe.
Juslivin 1 Posted May 28, 2009 I have seen a lot of people run them at .5 but if it was me i would just run it a 1 to be safe.
jfin1204 2 Posted May 28, 2009 ups just dropped the amp off seconds ago, and this beast is heavy. it was actually a day early.
acex3a 5 Posted May 28, 2009 u blow it can always buy another or repair that one ha
weasle421 1 Posted May 28, 2009 keep in mind if you run it below 1ohm you void the warranty, don't mean the amp won't do it just if it does go you gotta pay for the repairs
jonbearsmt 919 Posted May 29, 2009 and remember your not gonna gain that much power by running so far below 1 ohm daily.... your ears will never tell the diffrance.
KU40 173 Posted May 29, 2009 I'd just run it at 1 ohm. It will last a lot longer.
jfin1204 2 Posted May 29, 2009 what if i decided to go with 3 fi bl or q's and ran them at .67 ohms before box rise, would that be okay. by the way they are the dual 1 ohm.
bassahaulic 155 Posted May 29, 2009 You can't count on box rise.... because the second you play a note below the boxes tuning the ohm load drops
rushnrun 14 Posted May 29, 2009 run the amp at 1 ohm for daily.. don't count on box rise.. If your asking these questions you don't have enough experience to vary from the reccomended ohm load for the amp. buy a pair of d1's, wire to 1, feed the amp plenty of juice and enjoy.. **I'm not trying to be rude... I'm just saying.
thefordmccord 0 Posted May 29, 2009 For daily, I wouldn't risk running it below 1 ohm. The amp will do it, but it's just not worth it.
jfin1204 2 Posted May 30, 2009 one ohm it is, plus i like my warranty. still need subs though. wonder if there is gonna be any new night shades or sundown subs coming soon.
