one blown sub. can i play the other?

Recommended Posts

1 of my BL subs blew and ive been trying to get this all sorted out and sent in but thats a different story. i was wondering if i could still play the one that isnt blown. ive already taken the blown one out of the box. i dont plan on turning it up high at all. just enough so i can hear music. is that possible or is it risky?

if it's a common chambered box then no you can't... you'll end up blowing the other woofer..

if they were divided chambers then it'll be ok

also if your running one amp or a mono amp it will change the ohm resistance. so watch out for that it may go up or down depending on some things. but if your running 2 amps or a 2 channel youll be good. (i think)
