motor losing gauss strength

Recommended Posts

so i pulled my dp yesterday, and to my surprise when i set it on top of the box none of the screws or the driver pulled over to the motor. usually this happens, so i put a few on the side of the motor, and to my surprise they were very easy to pull off. this is unusual as it is a pita to do usually. any thoughts as to why this happened and wnat to do??

I had a dd 3512 that did the same thing they said that the slugs in the magnet were reversedand changed the polarity of the woofer itself check the coils if the ohm load has dropped extremly then its defective or thats what DD says i hate their customer service but could never get a straight answer from them.

when i first got my death panlty's i set one on my table saw and could'nt get it back off any DD woofer i owned or played with never did that.
