box question

hey guys . im new to this forum. finally good to see powerbass gettin the word out.. i currently own 2 12's pbx . and a 1500d amp. i have an extended cab s-10. what size box do i need to build for 2 12's.. what box sze and what port. and which direction should my port be? also was wondering how should i wire it up also.. thanks if you can help me.

if you are reffering to the black cone PowerBass Extreme XS subs here is what they reccomend... (few different ideas)

#1- 3.4 Cubes per @ 36hz 800 watts rms, round port 5" x 8"

or

#2- 3.9 cubes per @ 42hz 800 watts rms, round port 4" x 16"

or

#3- 1.8 cubes per @ 34hz 800 watts rms, round port 4" x 14"

If you are competiting, #2 would be the choice, if you want loud street bass #1 would be the choice, if you want to preserve SQ and slightly better bottom end and dont have much room to work with #3 is the way to go, keep in mind all of these specs are for the XS subs. I cannot help on the wiring the subs without knowing what voice coils you have.

you want it for street bass, or for SPL. also what year? Please let us know wich subs they are, ES, ES double stack, XS, V.2, PBB, PBC, ACB, NBC, CBS LOL
