Just wondering if the new HS310's would work well in a 4th order application ? i cant seem to find anything about box recommendation etc. and also if they will work in a 4th order application will they work well in .5 seale each im looking at doing 4 10's in a 2:1 ratio 4th in my trunk. Thanks

Alright guys so this is my first "big" system. I have 2 soundqubed hdc3 15 d2's in a 10 ish cu ft box tuned to 32 hz. I have 2 soundqubed q1-2200 amps. I plan on strapping them. My mids and highs I got on lock so they're not important. I have a 180 amp ho alt by singer alternators. This is the absolute biggest he could make it. 1 xs d5100r under the hood and 2 xs xp3000's in the back. Nothing is installed yet I'm waiting for all my install accessories. Do you think I have enough batteries and is my alternator sufficient enough to handle 500 amps of max current? I'm waiting on my xs charger to come in to install everything because I need to fully charge my batteries. Also…

I am working with limited space, so I am trying to get the most bang for my buck. I am considering running 3 10" HDC3's at 1.3 ohm, on approx. 1.5k to 2k per sub. I worked this design up on the RE box calculator. Would this be a good enclosure for these subs? This is basically my max dimensions for the enclosure.

Is there anywhere to suggested dimensions for a bandpass enclosure for the hdx3 18?

I cannot find anything about what size enclosure the HDS315 loves to eat up, i was thinking something in the 3-5 cube range? 32-37hz? Help please i feel enclosure recommendations is something SoundQubed should look into putting on the website considering all the love they have been getting from the community and all the people i have seen asking the same question on other forums.

Here is my input on what I have found to be optimum in sound and overall performance (SPL) for both the HDC3 and HDC4. Now there are several versions of both of these subs and I have tested countless hours with both. This is my recommendation, it isn't intended to be the end all BEST but will get you really damn close All recommendations are with alum coil D1 subs. Single sub setup, simply multiply for multi sub setups, works great in my testing. I've heard of this problem before, but can't recall the solution. As soon as I turn the key the bass note starts playing non stop unless I unplug either one of the RCA jacks. Doesn't matter which, then it will function normally. What causes this?

Hey guys, So I bought a HDS212 D2 and 750.1 little over month ago. Love it but I wanna get louder. So looking for input on how I should spend money. -Do I buy another HDS212 and 750.1 and hook it all up together in a new box -Buy another HDS212 and a new 1200.1 amp plus box? -Get a HDS312 or 15 and 1200.1 and possibly use same box (unless I go with 15" obviously) Also, for electrical, I'd probably have to get a second battery? And I'm still looking towards the big 3 in near future. I'm looking into buying 2 HDC4 12s, 4500 amp, and the 0 gauge wire kit. I was wondering if Soundqubed is having a sale any time soon, or if they have any sweet discounts.

I am in process of rebuilding my S10 for MECA's Street 2 SPL class. I am just torn between the HDC3 or 4 15. I will be running 2 2200's strapped for power. I can usual pull about 320 amps of current in the class so I think 2 2200's strapped at 2 ohms nominal would be an optimum choice. So on that note, opinions of which sub to use. I have had alot of experience with the HDC3's and found them to handle large amounts of power. I just know for rated power, I will be going way past peak power handling on the HDC3, but I do not want to get an HDC4 and not be able to move it with just 4 k in power. To make a long story short, the current HDC 12s that soundqubed is making have the hds300 basket. I bought one new and it did not come with the pictured basket on the website. Not all the way sure how I feel about it yet.

So I have had this amp for a year and today it just stopped working. I used to have two 2 ohm subs going into it. I thought internally the amp would halve the ohm load. Somebody told me sq amps dont do that. So I tried giving it a 1 ohm load and didn't really see a difference. I then cleaned up some wiring and when I went to play it again there was no sound. The green power led comes on and I have checked all the fuses and connections. I can't figure out why it won't work. The only thing I can think of is that maybe my rcas are bad. But they were just working. They are nvx rcas and have been pretty good up until now. Or maybe it's not the rcas I don really know.

Looking at upgrading the factory speakers in my Focus. Car has the Sony system "upgrade". I don't intend on amping the speakers for now, so I'd like something that will work well with what I have. The car comes with a component setup from the factory but I've been looking at the new 6.5" coaxials on the SQ site. There is also the component setup but I can't tell if the tweeter is removable on the component setup though so that may not work. Factory setup is 4ohm at 25w RMS from what I was able to dig up.
