Hello everyone, I have exactly 2k to spend on a new system. I'm not sure what to buy exactly, I'm looking for good speakers(x4), a single 15 with an enclosure and an amp that can hold all of that. What would you guys prefer?

.........................................................................you included no details at all? explain a little better.

I can't explain something I don't know, I'm just wondering what I should buy with the 2k. I want big bass but clear enough to hear the music

How much room do you have? What music do you listen to? What electrical upgrades do you have? Is this for just everyday?

Don't worry about the rear speakers. Just focus on the front speakers.

You can do a lot with $2k, so much so that you might not even need that much for your goals. We do need much more information as listed above. If I were to maximize your budget though, this is what I would do.

$2000

Big 3 Upgrade -  ~$40

Image Dynamics CXS62+Amp - $300

2 SSA GCON 12s - $500

Crescendo 2000D - $500

2 Wiring Kits - $100

Head Unit - ~$150-$300

Enclosure - $200 (Built by someone else... $60 or so if done yourself)

This is with brand new, quality equipment.

Dont worry about buying 2 sets of speakers, Ditch the rear speakers and spend more money on your front set.

More info !

What type of system, daily driving or to compete?

What type of vehicle do you have?

what is the amp rating of your vehicle's alternator?

How much space are you willing to give up, height, width and depth?

What equipment are you running now or is it all stock?

More, questions may be asked later, but these are all good for a start.

I pity you if you actually can't answer those other questions without someone holding your hand.

You're question is a bit like saying: "I want to buy a car for $30k. Which one should I buy?"

these posts are terrible. without understanding his goals you cannot possibly begin to make suggestion. you're just looking for the quickest way to waste his money..

I don't even have a car yet this is why I can't answer obviously? I just wanted opinions?

my opinion is that you can't design a system without understanding the environment in going in.

What you consider to be a waste of money might not be a waste to him or to others.

OP asked for big bass while being able to hear the music, I'm assuming those are his goals.

OP gave a budget, he asked for opinions, I gave him mine.

Worry about getting a car before you worry about a system.
