I started working on my RCA wires. I am posting up some pics but this is definitely not a full blown how-to. If you have any questions though please ask! Weller WES51 pen solder station. 10/10 I love it. Clamp stand, ehh ok, not as adjustable as I like. I am using : - Gepco 61801EZ wire. Plain and simple and easy to use. - P3 RCA connectors. Plain simple does the job well. - cable pants - Techflex NeonBlue - .032" 60/40 rosin core solder - heat shrink Gepco 61801EZ ia a 2 conductor with a drain wire Drain at the source for unbalanced connections. Wires tinned P3 connectors do not have solder cups but I did presolder them Wires soldered to the connector Heat shrink to prevent grounding to the connector body. Connector fastened! Repeat for left channel. Cable pants and Techflex on and ready to solder the other end. Drain wire snipped off Repeat above soldering steps. Done! 4 or 5 more custom lengths to make. It is probably cheaper or the same cost to buy premade RCA wires but I just like to make chit!

Jealous of your wire skills. Are you taking orders on custom RCA lengths? Love seeing updates on this build. Pristine work. Keep it up!

This ^^^. Only get one set of components. 2 woofers and 2 tweeters or step up to a 3 way setup. Anything more is a waste of money.

Thanks man! I am anxious to start the front stage. I will be moving into my new house in April. Hopefully by June I will have it done I am already thinking about changing the substage from the single 15" to dual 12". I am trying to resist tearing it out until the end of this year. The bass bug is a real bitch ain't it I've changed my sub stage five times in the last year...

Shit is looking damn nice Bro. The attention to details you have showed thus far, I am very positive the front stage as well as your fiberglass project will be par for the course.

Lets just make sure were on the same page, do you know for a fact that the amp is on? Does the light on the amp light up? Try plugging an ipod into the amp for the signal, if that works then your LOC isn't working. You can hook your ipod to the amp by using a 3.5mm jack to rca cable. Lets make sure your amp is actually turning on, getting a signal, and producing power before you start accusing someone.
