12 inch FI Q's

Recommended Posts

Just want to say how happy. I am I do not regret buying these subs they are all they are cracked up to be. Well worth the money and wait they are everything I've been looking for and then some. They are amazing subs and if your considering a sub from FI do not hesitate. Here's some pics as for a review

They drop low when I say low I mean low. Think gut wrenching. :) I put on the silicon sound system test which goes through cycles and I could not belive what I was feeling and hearing the lower it got the more they shined. I did'nt realize what kinda power I had back there as none of the other subs I've had on that amp have really made me say wow. I mean they were loud but never sounded this good at the higher volumes. I am the happiest I have been with my setup since I got my first system. I love the look I love the performance and just want to say FI Is an outstanding company. I can only imagine how much better they would sound If I put them in a little bit bigger box since mine is a tad smaller then recommended @ 1.5 per sub. It's the biggest box I could fit back there.

I wish I could give them more power but I bought them because I wanted a rock solid system without any worries of blowing them and from the workout I've been giving them with my 9.1 i do not doubt they could take more with ease. Makes me want to get another 9.1 and strap them for 2k watts but that involves buying more then just another amp like a HO alt/more wire/and possible another battery as the charging system is at max capacity as it is i'm sure. All in all FI made me fall back in love with car audio and they truely are infinitly amazing.

My setup is in my sig if your curious

Excellent. Glad you like them. You should have a VERY reliable system with the power you have on them. If you get a chance, please post an update in a few weeks after things have had a chance to break in and any of the "honeymoon factor" might be over.

Thanks,

Scott

I don't think there is a honeymoon factor with the Q's. When I get tired of listening to a certain type of music and switch to another, the Q's always bring me back. They seem to mature very well as the soft parts break in. I have honestly never been happier sound/output wise as I have been with the Q's. I am sure you will be the same way. This is actually the first time I have bought a sub and not constantly pick out what I don't like. I am glad to hear someone else that is just as happy! :)

What are the measurements and tuning for your enclosure?
