4500 watts to deal with

Recommended Posts

well has of right now what i have planned is a yellow top under the hood with 2 kinetik's in the back..i spoke to some people and they said no need for dual alts just add more batteries..1 said i needed to had 7 batteries..so with 7 in the back and up front wont 1 300amp alt have a hard time dealing with 9 batteries? also is 7 of these batteries over kill or is this something that needed?

http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=4580 has you can see they are a bit pricy but very strong..i see them on ebay for about $350 each...so what do you guys think..battery/alt wise? by the way this is for around 4000-4500 watts total

I have (2) batteries up front, (7) in the rear, and a 250 amp alt. No problems running 14,000+ watts.

crap man 14,000+? you should charge admission to have people sit in your ride..lol honestly though i dont mind doing the battery thing..but at $350 a pop im not sure i want to spend $2500 just on batteries and i see your are all yellow tops those i dont mind doing..and obviously if they are taking care of 16,000 then 4-5k can be done with there eyes closed..so is it agreed everyone 8 yellow tops? 1 in the front with the factory battery and 7 in the rear?

Or call REMY battery in south Milwaukee if they'll give you a discount on buying multiple batteries. Prices are good to begin with and not that far from you...
