trying to get a crx but was wondering how much spectrum sound deadener it would take to do the car's rear hatch or is there a better product from SS to use.

Spectrum will work fine, just that you need to apply it as thick as the vibrations mats (2mm+) to see equally good results. I see way too many people apply it too thin and then turn around complain.

With that said, two gallons, possibly three for proper thickness.
