ixl 15.2.2 in accord cpe?

so i just got my sundown saz1500d. in the coming weeks im going to rewire the car and grab a new sub(s). the ixl 15 looks like the best sub for the price out there, only problem is: i have about 14" of height to work with for my enclosure. however i have 36"w and 18-20"d. how would the ixl perform top firing side port in a 95 accord cpe trunk?

If I remember right, sub up and port back is the best set up for coupes. If thats the case, you'd be fine. Hopefully some one can confirm that though.

Why don't you do a slanted face firing inwards? That is, if the seats fold down. Otherwise sub up would work but cause more rattle I'd imagine.
