Ok I bought a 2nd battery for my car and wanted to know if it would be ok if i ran 0 guage from front bat positive to rear bat positive. and just ground the second battery in the trunk. I'm also doing the big three.

if you run 0 gauge you should run 0 gauge grounds off both batterys. other wise the power wire will only be as efficient as the ground..

i do just as you stated....

i have a run of 0 gauge off the front cell... fused.......... fuse... rear bank....

and on the ground i have dual 2/0 to my frame in the rear of the car..

and then the big three....

you will be fine...

some people say make a ground run.. but alot of people dont... i think its just diffrent strokes.

i agree run the + to + and ground individually make sure you tie down the 2nd battery and bolt the ground through the frame. i'm running 3 amps and i do fine with a 300 amp fuses from front to rear.
