sub wiring question.....

Say you have 2 4ohm DVC subs that you want to wire to a 4 ohm load on a mono amp.

Could you wire each sub so the voice coils are in parallel, so each sub is wired to 2 ohms, and then treat them as single voice coil subs and run them in series to get a 4 ohm load on the amp?

Don't think its hard question, just one i don't know the answer to. And this is definitely a place to learn

Two 4 ohm DVC's in parallel is a 1 ohm load.

In series it is a 4 ohm load with all four coils.
