mixing different sizes of subs , will not sound good , it might get loud , but it will sound nasty,

each size of sub will be moving at different speeds , some going fast , some slow , it would be nutz ,

so yeah pick a pair and stick with it,

It will be bad, nothing to do with drowning out just a completely bad idea.

Perhaps you should revisit your threads. Instead of saying, "this or this" describe your goals as your choices aren't really good ones.
